Week 3 Discussion Techniques of criminal profiling Criminal profiling is the act of using evidences from the criminal scene and behavior of the criminal during the act to assist in catching the criminal. Two techniques involved in criminal profiling include inductive and deductive criminal profiling techniques. In inductive criminal profiling considers statistics of how criminals carry out their acts. The technique generalize that all criminals have particular behaviors that are similar to all of them.

Deductive criminal technique involves analyzing forensic evidence from the crime scene in what the offender left and connections to the victim (Petherick 2013). This type of technique singles out each offense uniquely to gain profile that is more accurate. Admissibility to courtRapist criminal description in are admissible to court. Carrying out forensic DNA analysis in a credible laboratory complying with all regulations required add the case more support.
