In this case, the mission statement is vital for an organization to facilitate prosperity and growth, since it has a positive impact on profitability and increases shareholders' equity and it helps the employees to understand the company mission.

Healthcare organizations are integrating their operations with technology through the use of computerized systems for communication. This has benefited the organization, but there are some demerits associated with this integration due to the high dynamism associated with technology. Computerized systems are becoming obsolete with time, thus causing some difficulties since the rate of change is a way that organizations are unable to maintain updated systems. Therefore, changes in healthcare regulations and policies have led to confusion in various healthcare organizations resulting in a problem in communication and operation using computer systems.

In conclusion, the paper has explored issues related to a mission statement to elaborate on its significance to an organization. The paper has also discussed the effects of changes in health care policies and regulations, which are facilitating the use of computer systems leading to difficulty in communication.
