Labeling is never been good and that also goes to the children. If labeling damages an adult’s self-esteem so much more with the children who are still very vulnerable because they are still in their formative years. Often, these labels become a self-fulfilling prophesy as children in their young minds tend to believe what adults are labeling them.

Consideration empowers and enables them to have the confidence and self-esteem to believe that they can overcome whatever challenges they may have. Consideration begets self-esteem among children which is a powerful enabler among them to do better. As a result, children’s development becomes normal even if there are challenges becomes special consideration as an intervention is effective in addressing whatever challenges a child may have.

Labeling on the other hand achieves nothing. It only makes a child resentful to the person who is labeling him or her and worst, the child believes the label that is cast on him or her. And these labels are often negative.
