Experience one

On Monday morning, I arrived at my workplace, armed with my laptop, ready for another busy week. The company secretary welcomed me with a warm smile and a brown letter. It was a dismissal letter. Reason? My boss felt that I was not regular at work. I became disturbed since I have never been late and always honor I have always reported to work on time and was able to beat all my deadlines. At that time, I realized what she meant by not being regular at work. What she didn't factor in is that my job's nature entails someone to reach out to the client physically. I took my letter and left fully convinced that whoever will replace me will face the same challenges if things are not streamlined. As I stepped out of the office, I was fully convinced that my short tenure in that place gave me the experience to face the world an tell them, here I come.

Experience two

I cannot remember the last time I took lunch at my workplace. My job was so demanding, meaning I had to sacrifice a lot. I would come in very early, working during lunch hour and leave work late. This particular day, as I struggled with my daily routine, three gentlemen arrived and introduced themselves as police officers. A theft case had been reported to them, and I was the main suspect. Accompanied by a search warrant, they ransacked my office only to find bundles of money stack in a box behind my cabinet. Who would have done this? What was the motive behind it? I was told to accompany them to the police station. On my way out, I met will Clara, my workmate, full of smiles. I guess that smile communicated a lot.

Experience three

This particular Thursday, I had decided not to miss the meeting. It was the fourth meeting of the month, and I was representing my colleagues. I was the last person to arrive for the meeting. My immediate supervisor started his normal accusation that I was never serious about my work. The managing director kept calm, and after the meeting, I was given a letter. I knew it was a warning letter since I have frequently been at loggerhead with my immediate boss. As I sat down in my office, the secretary came in and told me that she was under firm instructions to ensure that I relocated from that office immediately. I could not understand what was happening, so I opened the letter only to find out that it was a letter of promotion. I was relocating to a bigger office, a reward for my hard work.
