Sin Genesis 3 19 – Adam and Eve was forbidden by God to eat from the tree of temptation. But the evil through the serpent tempted Eve to eat afruit from the tree and made Adam to eat the fruit too. This passage revealed how the original sin was committed by our forebears Adam and Eve. 2. Job 15:14-16 – This passage reveals that “man is basically sinful or abominable and filthy” because we have an original sin. 3. Psalm 51:1-6 – This passage reveals that man should ask for mercy from God for him to be forgiven for his sins. 4. Isaiah 59:2 – this passage reveals that the sin we have committed alienated us from God 5. Mark 7:14-23 – Man is basically sinful and from his heart naturally goes out sinful thoughts such as adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, etch. 6. John 8:31-36 – This passage reveals that if Jesus disciples will continue to believe in him, they shall be free from their sins and will be reunited with God. 7. Romans 1:18-32 – God despises sin in all its form and man being full of sins, should change their ways because they will judged by God. 8. 3:9-23 – In this passage, the sinful things that man could do are revealed such as being bitter and full of curse and without fear for God and therefore, they will not receive the glory of God. 9. 5:12-19 – this passage reveals that man will be condemn because he is sinful except when he obeys God and make himself righteous. 10. 6:23 – Man will die because he is sinful and will only have eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 11. 8:18-22 – the sufferings that man experience by his tendency to sin is nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed to him by believing in God. 12. 1 Corinthians 10:13 – this passage reveals that if man will believe in God, he will no longer be tempted to commit sins. 13. Ephesians 2:1-3 – this passage reveals that those who have sin will die. 14. Hebrews 2:14-18 – If man will ask for God’s mercy, he will be forgiven by God because he is God’s own flesh and blood and deliver man from the bondage of sin. 15. 4:12-16 – God is omnipotent and sees all the sins that we have committed and cannot escape from his sight. It would be better for us to ask for his grace for the sins we have committed. 16. James 1:13-16 – man is prone to temptation of sin and this temptation is not of God’s making. 17. 1 John 1:5-10 – this passage reveals that the salvation from sin is through God. By believing in God, we will be delivered from the darkness of sin. We have to believe in God for deliverance because all of us is sinful. 18. Revelation 21:1-8 – the Jerusalem that was mentioned in the passage is the revelation that if man will believe in God, he will be received in the Kingdom of God where there is an eternal life. Those who refused to believe in God however will burn in hell in their second death. Human nature 1 19. Genesis 1:26-28 – this passage reveals that man is created in the image and likeness of God 20. 2:7 – in this passage God also commanded to increase in number and fill the earth. 21. 2:18-25 –the need for man to be with a woman is revealed in this passage where the woman was taken out from the rib of a man. 22. Leviticus 19:27-28 – God commanded not to cut the edge of one’s beard or to put tattoo on our body. 23. Job 4:18-19 – This passage reveals that if God can be skeptic, how much more are those whose character are less than God? Surely none can be trusted more than God. 24. 10:8-12 – this passage is a pleading of man for God to take care of him for it is the nature of man to need God. 25. Ecclesiastes 3:21 – this passage reveals that man’s spirt can either soar to the heavens or he can also be as lowly as animals. 26. 12:7 – the revelation that man will die and will eventually go back to his original form which is the dust. 27. Psalm 8 – passage about the greatness of God that He rules all over the earth. 28. Psalm 139:13-16 – this passage is a revelation of man’s nature to be grateful to his Maker which is God. 29. Matthew 6:25-34 – revelation that if man believes and trust God, he should not worry because God will take care of him. 30. Matthew 10:28 (& Luke 12:5) – reveals that man should not fear man who could only kill his body. He should be instead be fearful of God who could kill both his body and make his soul burn in hell. 31. Mark 7:18-23 – this passage is a revelation that what come out of man is what is considered dirty because it consist of immorality and other evil things. 32. John 1:14 this passage reveals that the word of God is alive. 33. Romans 8:23 – this passage meant that man who has to take care of himself, both his body and his spirt 34. 1 Corinthians 6:12-20 – this passage reveals God disdain towards sexual immorality that whoever sins sexually has also sinned against their body. 35. 2 Corinthians 5:1-10 –this passage reveals that if we die and believes in God, we will have a new body in Heaven. 36. James 2:26 – this passage reveals that our faith must also be supported with action. 37. 3:1-12 – we should guard our tongue because it incapable of many sins such as boasting that could corrupt the body. Human nature 2 38. Genesis 1:26-28 – man is created according to the image and likeness of God and is commanded to multiply. 39. 2:7-8 – life came from God when He breathed into man’s nostrils. 40. 2:18-25 - the need for man to be with a woman is revealed in this passage where the woman was taken out from the rib of a man. 41. Leviticus 18:1-30 – this passage reveals that unlawful sexual relations between man and a woman such as not having sexual relations with one’s mother. 42. Deuteronomy 22:5 – this is a revelation that man must wear his or her clothing appropriately. 43. Matthew 19:3-12 – this passage reveals that what God has united, man cannot separate such as the union of marriage. 44. Romans 1:18-32 – God will punish sinful people. 45. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 – this passage reveals that the sinful will not inherit the kingdom of God. 46. 6:12-20 - this passage reveals God disdain towards sexual immorality that whoever sins sexually has also sinned against their body. 47. 7:1-5 – God commanded man to have sex only with his wife. 48. 7:6-9 – God gave the widow a permission to marry because it is better to marry than to burn with passion. 49. 7:10-11 –God commanded the wife not to leave her husband and if she does, she must remain unmarried. 50. 7:12-16 – God commanded both the man and the woman not to leave their partners even if they are nonbelievers. 51. 7:25-40 – God commands man that marrying the woman he is engaged to is not a sin and the woman is bound to the husband until he dies. 52. 11:3-16 – the head of the family is man but the head of every man is Christ. 53. Galatians 3:28 – we are all children of God. 54. Ephesians 5:22-33 – God commanded the wife to submit to their husbands. 55. Colossians 3:11-19 – praising God does not discriminate and let Him enter into the heart of every man. 56. 1 Timothy 1:8-11 – this passage reveals that the law is made for the sinful and is not necessary for those who follows the path of the Lord. 57. Hebrews 13:4 – God commanded us to practice fidelity in marriage. 58. 1 Peter 3:1-7 – God commanded the wife to submit to their husband and for the husbands to treat their wives with respect.
