The entire life cycle, process, and the changes are executed to allow an organization in gaining control of data resources and managing both internal and external operations (Bostick, 2007). Organizational management develops architectural execution of the policies, practices, and procedures with intention of proper management of the data lifecycle. Moreover, through planning, oversight, and execution of the data policies and practices enable the business in acquiring, controlling and enhancing the value of organizational data and informational assets. Therefore, the study concentrates on the contextual and infrastructure application and considerations of data in the organizational operations. Data Operation Management Data operation management is the central function in an organization controlling the entire data management framework. It covers the database support management and data technology aspects as sub-functions data operations management. These sub-functions entail development, maintenance and support of the organizational functions through structured infrastructural systems to maximize the data resources value to the firm (Terranova, 2015). Contemporary data management provides analysis of the infrastructure, structure and the systems that an organization depends on in the process of managing and data leveraging. The ethical and moral concepts provide the grounds for the organization in the development of the structure and systems to enhance the data operations. The data governance and data stewardship relate to the principles and values that provide technological systems and structures for an organization to coordinate and control its activities and practices. Therefore, the data operation management provides clear structural and systematic approach toward achieving the organizational performance and productivity. Contextual Application Well developed data management in an organization shows positive ability and changes in the administration and application of data assets in different levels and sectors. The data management has different benefits that cover improvement of the managerial operations, effectiveness in marketing and sales, enhancing better regulations and compliance as well as ensuring security and privacy. An organization has the mandate to concentrate on the managerial improvement approach and ensuring the managerial operations shows positive growth (BOH & YELLIN, 2007). It is the role of the management to concentrate on the data sources and technology to ensure efficiency and improvement in the organization performance and productivity are achieved. Furthermore, the effectiveness of marketing and sales are also connected to the free-flow of the organizational data toward the realization of strategic marketing procedure. Therefore, the realization of positive organizational growth depends on the development of the data management approach in the institution. Regulation and compliance control ensure the organization is in a position of maintaining ethics and morality in handling organizational data. This is connected to the security and privacy of the organizational data to ensure the organization data system is safe from external interference. In addition, the strategic measures and decision making in an organization depend on the nature of information deducted from the data collected. The safety of the data management ensures the organization develops a unique approach toward the market performance in marketing and sales. This is a competitive move whereby an institution has to ensure appropriate strategic approaches are enhanced based on the reliable source of information and data to reveal the market (Lambrou, 2016). Data management concentrates with the reduction of the data risks connected in achieving faster application and systems development. An organization has to consider an appropriate contextual approach that would contribute to the achievement of the faster applications and systems development to meet the need of the firm. Infrastructure Application The information system comprises of different interrelated components that enable an organization in collecting, organizing, storing and reporting the data. An organization has integrated information system under well-controlled data architecture that defines the systems for the organization. The data infrastructure determines the systematic process of the data flow from the origin to the storage and finally reporting (BOH & YELLIN, 2007). Determination of the data collection focuses on the organizational technology and the capacity to integrate the data resources. Organizational management has a responsibility of ensuring the systems applied in the data collection are compatible with the firm’s systems. Organization of the data is articulated by the data modeling approach whereby the information technology has to provide compatibility of the systems and data sources. Moreover, technology infrastructure and the system should contribute in enhancing efficiency and performance. Data warehousing under the infrastructural application focuses on data storage. In an organization, infrastructure and systems contribute in determining the nature of storage required in terms of capacity, security, and size. Sensitive data should be highly secured and protected by an unauthorized agent. The information system should also articulate appropriate approach toward the reporting information. An organization management relies on the collected data in developing reports to determine the position of the firm. In reporting organizational performance and achieved a milestone, the information should be developed from a reliable data. The infrastructure used for the storage of data and deduction of the information should be enhanced through developing a good transistor for data submission. The submitted data should be used in developing reliable information that supports organizational decision making, coordination and controlling practices (Leong, 2015). Therefore, the information system depends on the infrastructural and architectural approach in ensuring the data storage is safe and secure. Management of Data in Business Operations and Strategic Planning Importantly, data management ensures the improvement of the decision making and reporting of the organizational information. The technology and information system provide a platform for the organization to develop a mechanism that withstands the need of the sustainable business growth and development. In addition, the data management helps in business and technical alignment through the provision of insights toward the organizational performance. The technological application ensures the firm gets automatic and streamlined operations as reports generated to give a wider view of the organizational trends (Goetz, Leganza, Owens, Barnett, McGovern, & Lynch, 2016). Another aspect of the data management is on the revenue growth and consistency of the firm’s process. Revenue growth is achieved through the contribution of different ideas relating to the marketing and sales. Using the technology and data collection, the firm develops strategic systems that would help in coordination of activities and practices resulting in a positive outcome. The operations processes consistency depends with the organizational systems and coordination for effective response toward capturing the general market demand and responding to the need. Therefore, data management concentrates more on the organization benefiting from the data collected to formulate reliable information and reports using appropriate systems and channels. Information as the shaped data into a meaningful report, entails the contribution of the organizational management concentrates on toward the streams of raw facts. Planning depends with the controlling of different facts that result to the sound decision making. Management focuses on the procedures for tracking the packages through concentrating on the provided information (Goetz, Leganza, Owens, Barnett, McGovern, & Lynch, 2016). The information gives the direction of the firm in terms of performance and expectation in the future. The management uses strategic systems and planning mechanisms in determining the appropriate measures that would ensure positive returns. Furthermore, inventory management and monitoring of the organizational services and costs are perfectly done through the planning. Management role is ensuring the services level are properly monitored to determine the appropriate production and manufacturing technology. The application of data operation considerations are based on the technology and other technological equipment essential in supporting the organization operations. Effective and consistency in the data management depends on the technological systems and devices used to formulate relevant formation and reports to the business (Leong, 2015). Managerial practices depend on the reliable information that aids in decision making and strategic planning. The computers, networks, and bar-code scanners among other electronically devices play a major role in the data management to ensure high performance and productivity of the firm. In addition, the data management concentrates on the process and practices revolving the electronic devices, data, and formulated information. Therefore, the organizational management should concentrate on the devices and process of data collection to the formulation of reliable information. In conclusion, data management revolves the contextual, infrastructure and business operations and planning approaches. The connection of these aspects relates to the data collection, processes and feeding to the electronic devices, the systems applied as well as storage. Information generated from the stored data helps in the development of the organizational reports essential in decision making and organizational planning mechanisms.
