Anheuser Busch and SAB Miller Merger Business as a practice has grown and developed in its structure giving rise to different forms and practices as the world continues to appear smaller through enhanced global connectivity of markets. These practices have allowed for the interaction of different companies/businesses to achieve what would ideally be a profitable endgame for all parties involved. One of these practices that have come to practices and has gained popularity since its introduction is the merger of two or more companies.

A simple definition of this would be that it is the process whereby two separate business entities join to form one overall larger company. This practice can take place between two or more parties, and the rumors of Anheuser-Busch and SAB Miller is a good example of an international merger. When two companies decide to take part in a merger, it should be noted that these business entities will in all likelihood not be the only parties affected by such actions. It is, therefore, important to take a look at the other groups related to the companies involved in one way or another so as to get a whole picture on the overall implications of such actions.

A good way of doing this is through the observation from a public policy viewpoint in a bid to determine what effect it would have on the majority of those involved. Both Anheuser-Busch and SAB Miller are large companies in the United States and Britain respectively so a merger between these two companies would involve an effect of international proportions. That is to say the number of people it would affect crosses national borders and, therefore, can be considered to be fairly significant.

An overall observation of the two companies, however, would suggest that a merger between the parties mentioned above would make for a favorable outcome. This is true especially when observed from an economic standpoint. The joining of these two financial powers would result in a combined force that is significantly stronger than when these two entities exist on separate levels. This would also foster relationships between the two nations where the companies are based (that is, United States and Britain).

A success of the merger would mean a success for international diplomacy in business terms as it would display the ability of these two nations to come together for the sake of an economic gain. In my opinion, the merger would result in a company that would enhance the economic stability of both countries as they work to gain from one another. The firms’ coming together would instigate an increase in profitability for the community as the larger firm could potentially increase the availability of job placement opportunities in both countries.

This would be a good development for the nations’ economy and would serve to stabilize or even enhance the quality of living that can be enjoyed by the citizens of these nations. This would be a long-term effect on the growth of the business in both regions leading to scenarios such as an increase in employment opportunities, better wage options available to local communities and other financial advantages.
