There are six steps which are essential in the decision making process. First is the interview. The interview is the step in which a decision maker ask questions concerning the their decision. The second step is the performance test which is an examination of the efficiency of the various decisions to be made. The next step is the physical ability test which is an examination of the strengths and weaknesses of the available options. The step that follows is the paper and pencil test. This step entails putting the facts gathered about the different options down to make it easier to decide on one option.
The next step is the references step which involves gathering additional information from different sources about the available options. Lastly, there is the background information step. This step involves recalling past experiences about the different options available to be at a better place to make the best decision. The six step decision making process is essential in the purchasing of a car by a willing buyer. These steps will enable the buyer to come up with an appropriate decision of the type of car they will purchase.
First, the willing buyer will conduct an interview with the car dealer. The interview is preferred as the first step since at this stage the car dealer will introduce a variety of cars that the buyer can purchase. The buyer wills inquire from the dealer the advantages and disadvantages of various car models to get an idea of the type of they would prefer. Second, the buyer will conduct a performance test. This test will determine the suitability and efficiency of several cars so that the buyer can decide on a better choice.
The performance test in the purchase of a car will involve determining the fuel engine capacity and the cars strengths. After the initial two steps the buyer of the car can then conduct a physical ability test. This test will entail the buyer conducting drive tests of the cars to determine their physical ability such as their top speed. The step that follows is the paper and pencil test. This step involves putting all the points gathered from the three initial steps down to ease comparisons of the cars in question.
Documentation of the points will facilitate better decision making in selecting the car of choice. The next step is the references. This step involves the buyer researching information about the various car models from other sources such as the internet. This will give the buyer adequate information to facilitate better decision making in choosing a car. The final step entails using the background information. The buyer will use their background information on their knowledge about the different car models.
Previous encounters with these cars form part of the background information. Sources of differences in ethics between people, companies and nations People have different ethical values and ethics due to the diversity of cultures that exist among people. Despite individuals having their own personalities and individualities, they are most likely subject to external forces such as family dynamics, neighborliness, peer pressure and civics that govern them. People will therefore tend to practice ethical values that are in their surrounding and community at large in a bid to abide by the laws of the land.
The company despite being recognized as a separate entity from its owners, it does not have humility, emotions or shame. These companies can cover breach of the laws by amending their own by laws. These makes companies have the ability to break laws consciously or even bully their staff without fear of getting punishment. This fact makes the company’s executives to do wrongful acts and hide themselves with the name of the company. The ethical values of a nation are similar to that of a company due to the fact that it is also an artificial creation.
Despite the effort by world organizations to establish organizations that ensure equal and fair treatment to every country’s citizens, this is not the case since most powerful countries do not implement the policies formed by this countries and as a result have rogue leadership (Jones and George, 2011).
