Presentation Tools Presentation Tools Presentation tools are functions which allow a user to manipulate his or her presentation in a way that makes it more appealing and attractive to the viewer. Presentation tools allow users to insert pictures, audios, text and videos in his presentation hence making it more authentic. The purpose of the presentation tools is also to enable the user to share the presentation either through emailing, uploading or any other method. There are various presentation tools available, but three are of them are discussed below.

Presentation tools are used by students, for preparing speeches, and lecture notes. Power Point Power point is a windows and Mac based presentation tool, which is widely used in the world. Power point is integrated with the Microsoft office suite. Power point allows electronic presentations in the form of slides. Users of power point can use texts, graphs, tables, and videos in their presentations. Power point has been widely used in businesses and educational presentations. This is because power point allows easy presentations, which are creative in delivering the message to the audience.

It has templates and layouts for users to follow, and this makes it easy and flexible to use. Power point has some advantages in that it allows one to produce presentations with drawings, sounds, and pictures. It is also advantageous since it does not require internet during preparation of presentations and the user can work from home. The presentations, which are made using power point, are easy to customize. It is easy to edit information, add or delete slides (Andrew, 2006). On the other hand, power point has some short comings; the slides can not be changed during the presentation.

The presentations are fast, hence difficult to make notes. Photo peach Photo peach is an application that allows its users to upload pictures from various sources, and create a web based slideshow. The photos being uploaded may be from the user’s computer hard drive or from piccasa. Once the user has uploaded the photos, the application allows the user to add effects to the pictures, ad audio, and arrange the photos. Once the slideshow is complete, the user can share it with friends on various sites like facebook and twitter.

The application is also useful in academics, since students use it to develop questions. The process of uploading photos is very first, and slides can be created within a short time. The process of organizing the uploaded photos is easy as the user only drags the photos to the desired location. Image Loop Image loop is an application which uses the internet to create slides. It allows users to upload photos from any source. The application also allows its users to customize their photos and have an individual look (Tom, 2005).

The application also allows users to edit the slides; changing the background color, color of the text, and style of the slideshow. The application does not need to be downloaded, the photos can be uploaded first, and it is easy to use. The slides prepared can be embedded on sites like facebook, and twitter and share with friends and family. The available presentation tools have helped in academics. The lecturers and students use them to deliver their thoughts and presentations. Presentations are interesting, and the audience understands better.
