Title Emirates Airline Readiness to Serve the Volume of Customers Generated by Expo 2020 2. Background and overview The airline industry is a fast growing industry. This industry plays a crucial role in the development of any economic growth by increasing the rate of tourism. This industry is not only growing in the developing country but also in the developed countries.

In order to develop this industry, the UAE has come up with a 2020 strategy. ok The Emirates has plans to expand the capacity of its airport and facilities in order to encourage vast growth in the global aviation industry (Khaleej Times, 2014). The government has planned for the development of the infrastructure especially in the aviation industry. The world Expo that will be held in Dubai will present a great opportunity for the whole region. The event Director of the airport show, Daniyal Qureshi sees that this show will be able to offer the regional airport authorities and aviation companies an advantage.

The Expo 2020 is foreseen as to be one of the best things that will ever happen in the UAE’s aviation industry because it will encourage the aviation industry to grow (Emirates 24/7, 2014). Considering the big plans for 2020, one question that comes up is the readiness of airlines for Expo volume of passengers. The study will particularly concentrate on the human resource capacity Emirates Airline. 3. Proposal 3.1 Research Questions The main objective of this study is to analyze Emirates Airline readiness to serve the Volume of Customers Generated by Expo 2020.

The specific objectives while conducting this research will include; 1. To analyze the current human resource capacity in Emirates Airline. 2. To analyse the human resource expansion plan in Emirates Airline that relates to the preparation of Expo 2020. 3. To analyze the motivational level of employees in readiness for Expo 2020. 4. To analyze the ability of Emirates Airline to expand and maintain current employees. 5. To analyze the shortcomings expected as a result of increased volume of passengers during the Expo. 3.2 Research Methodology During this study, the method that will be used in the data collection process include; 3.2.1 Questionnaires This will be the primary form of data collection.

The questionnaires will be semi structured and will be administered randomly to 30-40 staff members for a more reliable statistical analysis. I will design the questionnaires with the help of the lecturer ok. This will make sure that the questionnaires are structured so that it is user friendly in order to help the study get information that will be relevant to the study (BRACE, 2008). 3.2.2 Company Records Analyzing the company’s past record will be useful in the literature part of this study.

This will also be useful in the data collection process, in order to get some information. This method will not be totally relied on because many companies handle their records with high confidentiality. For this reason, analysis of company records may be limited to information that is available to the public. 3.2.3 Interviews While administrating the questionnaires to twenty staff member, this study group will be interviewed in order to make sure that they fill the questionnaires correctly.

This will increase the accuracy of data collected. This method will also be useful when answering some questions in the objectives. The questionnaire questions will be applied when conducting the interviews. 4. Problems and Limitations: Like many studies, the main challenge that is expected in this study is the willingness of the employees to be involved in the study. Those who will be willing may also fear to answering the questionnaires honestly. To overcome this problem, it is crucial to assure the study group that their answers will be treated anonymously.

There is also the risk of inaccuracy of the data collected; however, this risk will be mitigated by using other data collection method like observation to verify data collected. To reduce this problem, the study group will also be verbally told how crucial it is for them to answer the questions as honestly as possible. 5. Data Analysis After data collection, the data will be analyzed by using excel program which is user friendly. The analysed data will then be presented in the form of graphs and charts. 6.
