Moreover, the employees are the greatest organizational assets, which make it important to engage them in the organizational management. The management has to allow the employees to channel their efforts productively through ensuring reasonable alignment between their responsibilities and capabilities, adequately availing the resources, and reinforcing the management processes such as performance and rewards. For the COMPANY to achieve a more engaged and enabled employee focused on delivering the results, there is need to make a business case for employee engagement, go beyond the compensation to the total rewards mindset, make the management accountable for engagement, adequate connection of people with the future, and measure engagement while taking actions on the survey. Employee engagement has several implications on organizational performance. There is a well-established association between employee engagement and various performance outcomes such as customer ratings, quality, productivity, profitability, absenteeism, theft shrinkage, turnover rates, and safety incidents. Employee engagement continues to be an important predictor in the performance of the company even during tough economy. There are differences in terms of performance between the engaged and actively disengaged work units with research showing that engaged workers score high. Increased level of engagement often leads to high earnings per share (EPS). The aim, scope, and Objective of the project Aim The most important aim of the paper is to present the decision makers within the company with the actual research and data representing the current status of the company and its current level of community engagement. In addition, the paper aims at creating a study that focuses on various levels of the employees within the organization. Therefore, identification of the ratios of the workers falling within the “engaged-in between-disengaged” spectrum and detection of pockets of discontent (Cervai 121). With such aims, the research will assist in the development of a plan that will suggest different ways of increasing the level of engagement across different levels of the organization. Furthermore, the teams will assess different tools and techniques for coming up with the most accurate results. The mores the specific aims of the research are, the greater the chances of achieving them. Focusing on the total page in the demonstration of a single objective might make few people read it. However, if read, then the objective might not be clear or could have several interpretations. Scope Declaration of project scope is one of the most critical pieces involved in the project elements. Most institutional managers find tricky despite the type of supervision style under use. To fulfil the outlined aims and objectives on the employee within the project, it is important to develop a framework of approaching the prevailing the situation. Moreover, the project team will rely on both the qualitative and quantitative forms of research in the extraction of the results. The research method used will be questionnaire administration with questions planted carefully that will also play important role in deriving the conclusions. Besides the results generated from the study, it is important also focus on the manner in which the employees managed process which will form the base of the findings as well. Moreover, the plan will as well ensure inclusion of the different ways of measuring and reading the data. One of the anticipated challenges to experience is that most employees of the company are located at different locations. As a result, there will be careful planning to ensure that many segments of the company are taken within the study samples. Justification of the aim and objective of the project Clarification of the purpose and justification with the sponsor is vital. Employee engagement determines organizational extent of performance; therefore, to achieve the desired competitive advantage, it is vital that the company focuses on various mechanisms of engaging the workers. The discretionary effort of the employees often result in engagement-profit chain considering that engaged employees care more, are more productive, offer better services, and to some extent stay longer in their jobs. As a result, the company experiences happy customer services leading to more referrals that drive institutional sales and profits and finally resulting in increased stock price. Therefore, with the SMART (Specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time sensitive objectives), the company is likely to experience improved delivery in customer services. Task 2 Sources of information and data for the project The main source of data will be the results from questionnaires administered to various people. For effective coverage of all the segments within the company, the questionnaires will be administered in printed forms and sent through the emails to various respondents to complete before returning. The questionnaires will yield many separate pieces of information with the analysis consisting of a tabulation of the responses to the individual item. The appropriate use of the data collected will play important role in commanding the diversity of data collection method. The data tends to clarify the real-world in the sequence reserve considered momentous of the application. Recognition of the data is an iterative procedure. There is inadequate statistics on the company’s level of engagement; however, proper understanding and development of the data determines the true sense in making the useful information. Even though the data is the verbal communication within the workstation, information is an important version of such communication. The questionnaires will be administered to the human resource department considering that it is the department that deals with the employees. besides the human resource departments, the views of the employees will also be considered to ascertain some of the claims from the human resource department. Analysis of the data and information for options or alternatives that meet the project aim Data investigation is of the ways of to covey the meaning to composed information and determination of the termination, significance, and suggestions from the results. In this case, the steps involved in the data analysis is the meaning of the information composed. In addition, the research will analyses the descriptive or qualitative data through supervision of the data into the common themes or variety. However, in most cases it is difficult to understand the descriptive data considering that it lacks the fixed structure within the mathematical data. At the initial stages, the descriptive data tend to emerge to be the collection of the random and unconnected statements. However, the assessment purpose and questions could assist in directing the central role of the data supervision. The data analysis techniques for consideration are unvaried analysis like analysis of the single-variable distributions, multivariate analysis, and bivariate analysis. Multivariate analysis refers to various numerical methods, which analyze different dimensions concurrently on each of the individual under the examination. Moreover, the multivariate analysis methods are the addition of the unvaried and the bivariate analysis methods such as the quantitative method, which is the Positivist Research Methods within the Information system. Employee engagement is an important aspect in the human resource management and an effective method of achieving the desired result. An alternative ways of considering the project is through cost benefit analysis (CBA) which aims at recognizing various compensational methods forming the social benefits and draw backs which form the social options within the project and the option compared to the existing status quo: without project implementation. Moreover, CBA involves monetization, collection, and comparison of the techniques to see if the social benefits out way the social outlays. Alternative that meets the project aim The managers that look closely at the intelligence, philosophy, verdicts, and sociability often ends having the size considered to have rational, risky, logical, purpose, and decision making in the style. Moreover, there are studies suggesting that various national or cross-cultural differences usually exist across the entire societies. For instance, in a study undertaken Maris Martins revealed that the American, Japanese, and Japanese business managers usually tend to exhibit a characteristic general style while making the choices. Generally, information screen is a vital process in discounting the arguments with which the researcher has to disagree with; however, the method was diminished through the selective activation of the prefrontal cortex. The evaluation of formative, process, and impact aim at answering various question types associated with the project. However, none of these elements is superior to the others but rather complement one another. During the practice, service evaluation covers various aspects of the evaluation. While deciding on the evaluation type to undertake, it is important to evaluate both the questions, aims, and forms the integral part of this project. While planning the evaluation, the research will have to first identify the project aspect to evaluate and important factors that the project can feasibly incorporate. For effectiveness of the research, the evaluation questions that the research will focus on depends on the aspects considered of the highest priority such as the valued for money, sustainability, efficiency, effectiveness, equity, and acceptability. Recommendations for the course of action meet the project aim The key factors that are likely to drive the achievement of the research aims are using the engagement metrics in the performance criteria, communicating the value of the organizational needs, engaging both the employees and management while developing reward design and launch. Moreover, it is also important to measure the engagement and take actions on the survey results, making the business case for engaging and adequate connection of the employees with the future. Through engaging the employees, the company could assist is causing marketing. If the non-profit takes up particular cause within the company throughout the year or a given time, having the engaged employees is inevitable. In every business, there is nothing worse than making efforts in trying to get the employees on board with the cause that they do not care about. However, engaging them could be a twist in the scenario leading to boon on the institutional marketing efforts considering that the engaged employees form part of the institutional solutions, as they are likely to participate in the events and volunteer programs for the company. Besides, engaged employees work more than willing in assisting the company that they work in pursuing the noble cause. The company could engage the employees through recognition especially from the managers, which most workers consider important motivational factor. These practices encourage them to develop positive behaviours that assist in the promotion of long-term top institutional performance. Besides, while embracing employee motivation, it is inevitable to overrule teamwork. The management need to encourage teamwork, which grows from the openness, and trust culture between the management and employees. Proper engagement of the employees means better productivity and performance. Whenever the company engages the employees at work, they tend to experience the feeling of connection with the institution, which make them believe that whatever they are doing is important; as a result, they work harder. To engage effectively the employees, getting to know them is an important step. The management needs to take time listening and learning the interests of the employees which in turn assist in building the relationship between the employees and the managers. The practices could, in turn, have an important impact on the motivation and engagement of the employees. Taking time to listen and understanding the employees’ background and values play vital role in positively influencing the attitude and motivation of the employees while developing stronger connection to the employees as well. To remain relevant and competitive in the market, the company could engage the employees through provision of basic training for the employees. Provision of the employees with proper training could assist them in excelling in their careers. By ensuring that the employees compete, the tasks accurately could assist them in achieving the goals and provision of motivation leading to higher level of engagement. Besides, the employees are more engaged whenever they understand their roles, responsibilities, and position. Moreover, understanding the responsibilities in a job often result in higher performance levels and commitment to the company. Task 4 Impact of the project recommendations Getting to know the employees offer significant impact to the company’s performance. Considering that, most portion of the life of the employee in spend at work, taking time to know what is important for them outside the work. Taking time listening to the employees and learning some of their interest lays foundation to establishing the institutional policies and cultures that offer favourable working environment for the employees. Through knowing and integrating the needs of the employees in the management, they feel part of the company, which make them even work harder for the benefit of the company. The company underperforms since most employees do not understand the nature of their jobs. To overturn such performance, provision of training is important. Training assist the employees in competing the responsibilities on time and effectively which in turn assist in meeting various organizational goals. Employees who understand their roles contribute in higher levels of organizational performance, which could assist in the achievement of the desired competitive advantage. Employee recognition has positive influence on their attitude and morale. Highlighting recent accomplishments of the employees promotes positive behavioural attitude within the company leading to the desired institutional culture, and achievement of the competitive advantage. Teamwork within the company play important role in ensuring the growth of openness and trust culture between the employees and the management. Dealing with committed employees as a team is important as they invest more time and energy in the company with reduces supervisory roles and enhances efficiency in the activities undertaken. The medium to be used to show the results of the project One of the most important elements within the research is the arrangement and presentation of the results, which in this case will incomprehensible to the decision makers within the company. As a result, the research will organize and present the data in a manner that centres on and interest vital ideas. The results will be presented in tabular form. To ensure effectiveness and reliability of the results presented in the research, sufficient time will be taken in arranging the high quality results for exploration of the final research. In addition, all the tables will be centred directly above the table and referred to within the text through the figure number and analysis of the meaning of the values restricted within the table. It is important to make the visual large enough for easy reading of the texts and values of the data. In appropriate situations, especially where the decision makers need further explanations or elaborations, the research will use colour in highlighting the table to make it easier to follow the project and interpret. The results of the project It is undeniable that disengagement of the employees has a direct impact on the organizational bottom line; however, it is vital to note it leads to negative impacts. Disengagement is costly to the company considering that disengaged employee care less about the business. While the engaged employees vest much of their interests in seeing organizational projects and their careers advance, the disengaged employees on the other hand often look for exit from the company at best and planning on the minimal efforts indefinitely at the worse. More importantly, disengaging the employees usually leads to more absenteeism, create more turnovers with the business, and experience numerous incidents associated with safety. From the analysis, it is clear that employee engagement increases the productivity of not only the employees but also the company. It is no coincidence that the employees that always score the highest on the engagement also produce more work, which in turn earns more income for the company. Furthermore, the engaged employees tend to earn more and use fewer resources compared to the disengaged employees. Besides, engaged employees also tend to use less health care, which could assist in the reduction of the company cost of management. Nonetheless, it is important that the company understands that employee engagement is not just a lofty objective; it forms the pivotal checkpoint that a company considered successful need to continue enjoying their desired competitive advantage. Disengagement also affects the customers as well. Employee discontent does not only at the company. The customers usually sense and response to the unhappy employees which has negative impact on the performance and competitive advantage. In reality, employee engagement has obvious effects on some key areas such as improvement in the productivity of both the employees and the company, lowering the turnover, lowering the incidents associated with safety, decreasing the incidents on theft and shrinkage, improving the overall quality and inspiration for higher rating of the customers. Moreover, fundamentals of the company’s business are also affected by employee engagement such as the operating income. Through engaging the employees, the company will have the opportunity to enhance its creativity and innovation. The damaging effects associated with poor engagement of the employee tend to extend beyond the creative endeavours; therefore, having poor engagement of the employees tend to score lower in the host categories.
