Business Final peper Current Strategy The current strategy of the company is to focus on the growth of each segment. It has focused to increase the sales and profitability of each store in USA. It has continuously expanded its stores in USA. It has driven acetated growth strategy for both the brands- Baskin robins and Dunkin donuts. It has boosted the sales and profitability of the franchisee stores by continuous product innovation and by differentiating the brand platform with the high level marketing.

It has refined its supply chain policies which include invoice pricing to enhance the profitability. It has also undertaken high impact marketing to reach mass people in USA and in other international market. Long Term Objectives The long term objective of the company is to enhance the long term sustainability. The company has focused on the research and development areas to generate new ideas which will be beneficial for the shareholders. Dunkin also focused on their corporate social responsibility to save water, energy, costs and other resources with an innovative toolkit which will solve these problems.

It is also developing resources to introduce sustainable solutions for packaging, reusable spoon and cups. It ahs also developed technologies for cage free eggs and crate free pork in 2013. It has also supported local communities through various financial packages (Riley.2013). Organization Chart and Top leaders Bio’s The organization structure of the company includes the chief manager of the company who is also the president of the company. He takes the ultimate decision on issues like investments and leas the annual conference of the company.

The chief manager is assisted by two other chief managers. Each of the subsidiaries of the company has assistant manager and regional manager. The chief executive officer of the company is Mr. Nigel Travis and he is assisted by Jack Clare who is the Chief information officer and Paul Carbone who is the Chief Financial officer. The president of global marketing and innovation is John Costello who is working with the chief legal and human resource officer Richard Emmet. The culture of the organization has ensured that company is in the leading position in the market over its rivals.

The leaders are very intellectual and highly competitive and they formulate the policies of the organization (Snider, 2010). Organization Culture The culture of the organization has placed the company in leading position. The employees and staffs of the organization follow employees act and maintain a good relation with the clients of the organization. The overall culture of the organization is good for the employee and the employer of the organization. Top Current Risks The top current risks include, tough competition has reduced the market share of the company, court cases were registered due to some problems in the franchise stores.

Another risk countered by the company that has damaged the brand image of the company is the negative feedback which was received due to some incidents caused by the franchisees. Top Three Competitors in domestic and International Market The top three competitors of Dunkin Brands Group are Starbucks, Mc Donald’s and Yum Brands Inc. in domestic as well as in international market. SWOT Analysis Strength 1. The main strength of the company is that it has an effective marketing and advertising strategies. 2. Strong brand loyalty among the customers. 3. Strong brand image.

Weakness 1. Strong competition from the competitors. 2. Persistent risks with its franchisee due to some incidents. 3. It has not entered into the emerging market in the developing countries which has lots of opportunities. Opportunity 1. It has created new boundaries by entering into the international market. 2. It produces low calorie snacks which are good for health. 3. It has widened the market through online marketing. Threats 1. The main threat that the company is facing now is the rise in price of the raw materials. 2. Tough competition from local bakeries and markets. 3. Customers prefer fresh and green food products.

Strategic Plan for the organization in future Strategic planning is an important tool which guides the activities of any organization. It helps to remain focused and have a long term vision to fulfill the target of the organization (Progressio, No Date). Here we need to find out the strategic plan for the Dunkin Group in future. The company should focus on the long term objectives which are to enhance the sustainability of the organization. It needs not change anything in the mission statement but to focus on the multi business strategy by innovating more new products.

It will help the company to compete with its main competitors in the international market. It should also overcome its weakness like by reducing the incidents in the franchisees which act on the brand image of the company. Apart from this it should also enter into the emerging market in the developing countries to gain the advantage over its rivals. It should create an implementation plan to reach the long term objectives by creating few short term objectives. The fulfillment of short term objectives will help the company to reach its long tem goals.

There should fixed timeline to complete each project in order to reach the objectives. The leadership and the organizational culture of the company are totally fine and do not need any further change in these. Organizational chart and hierarchy of leadership is perfect for the organization. But as stated earlier, to reduce the incidents in the franchisee stores, it needs to bring some changes in the leadership of the franchisees.
