The paper "Implications of Cultural Differences in Global Management Practices" is a great example of a research paper on management.
The culture and traditions in a country have a tremendous impact on business and management practices and as the world becomes increasingly globalized, the differences in management practices in relation to culture are highly visible within the organizational setting. The impact of culture on management practices has provoked the need to study this occurrence and a significant number of researchers have sought to understand the implications that individual culture has on behavior and common practices (Bratton, 2004). A worldwide study by Geert Hofstede reveals that there are major differences in culture; based on five aspects that were used in the study and these influence behavior and the way of life among individuals from each country. These include power distance, uncertainty avoidance, individualism, masculinity, and long-term orientation. Depending on the rating given for each country, each aspect affects the behavior and attitudes of citizens of these countries in a significant manner. This is not only possible in everyday life but also in the workplace, where decisions and actions are significantly influenced by culture. The need to determine whether this proposition is true in the Middle East however requires a study to establish whether this is indeed applicable in the real world.

It undeniable that as the world develops into a global village due to globalization, changes are expected to occur as the management and workforce become increasingly international. More companies are diversifying into other countries, bringing in new cultures; and so are employees from different countries, thus leading to the development of the international workforce (Boussebaa, 2004). This may present the possibility of conflicts within the organization as each person tries to maintain their culture in the context of business. It, therefore, becomes increasingly difficult for the management to control the organization due to differences in cultural orientation. In this study, the main aim is to establish the impact of cultural differences in management practices on a global level. The research seeks to identify the possibility that cultural differences affect global management practices and thereby come up with solutions for use in ensuring that global management can be made more professional.
