The paper "Goals and Objectives for Better Performance" is a great example of management coursework. The principal of my old school undertook activities in a rather slow but sure way. He believed in an all-inclusive form of governance. This is where he considered the views of all the stakeholders in the school before arriving at decisions. His planning skills could not be ignored. He was a master planner. He was the man behind the planning of the school schedule of activities that would be favorable for both the students and the teachers. Under his directions, the activities would flow from one to another in a systematic way. The planning was in such a way that the school would be able to meet the target that had been set for the given term.

His other function was the organizing function. In this, he would clearly allocate the resources that were at the disposal of the school and set them as aids to the achieving of the targets that had been set for the given term. Distribution was in for example the number of employees that would undertake a given task and the period that it would take them to complete the task that had been given and allocated to them.

He was also a master controller. In this, he evaluated the results that were and that would be achieved against the goals that had been set for a given period. He tried his level best in seeing to it that corrective measures were put in place for the activities that we're deviating from the plan that had been set. The control measures were also implemented when the school institution was not achieving the goal that had been set.

Another management function that he successfully undertook was the leadership function. With his goal-oriented approach at activities of the school, he led by example. He as such became the repute of the student body and all and sundry tried to emulate him. He connected with not only the students but also with the teaching and the support staff. He was not only a leader but also a motivator, an inspiration and an encourager to all in the achieving of the goals that had been set by the school, and which is intended to achieve.
