As a result, a manager handles task-oriented roles associated with staff development, resolving conflicts, mentoring individuals with high potentials, and ensuring the maintenance of discipline and ethics. On the other hand, a leader focuses on inspiration and motivation besides having an influencing relationship, characteristic, or ability that portrays him or her as one who serves others while following them.
