On the other hand, it is important to note that the industry is lucrative due to the high demand. The name of the proposed enterprise is Home grown Fashion. The company will deal with the design and sale of the latest women clothing. The company will also be involved in the importation and exportation of women clothing. The mission of the company will be to conquer the market by selling high quality clothing. On the other hand, the vision of the company is to be a recognized brand worldwide in the clothing industry. The company intends to achieve its mission by working with highly qualified employees who will ensure that the aims and objectives of the company are met. The company will carry out market surveys for the purposes of developing its strategies. The location of the company will also be strategic for the purposes of attracting a high number of customers. The paper thus discusses the enterprise proposal in relation to the company. Organizational Structure The Chief Executive Officer will be the owners of the company and this will be the highest ranking position. The human resource manager will be responsible for the recruitment of the employees in the company. The finance manager will be in charge of all the financial issue of the company. A technical manager will also be recruited for the purposes of ensuring that the operations in the company are carried out according to plan. Since the company will be dealing with raw materials and importation of products, a logistics manager will be recruited. The corporate affairs manager will be responsible for building the brand image of the company and dealing with the customer issues. The supervisors will be in charge of the employees who will be involved directly in the production process. The company will ensure compliance with all the required legislations. This includes the laws on the safety and hygiene which is important in ensuring that the health of the employees is not affected. It is also important top note that the recruitment of the employees will be carried out in accordance to the employment laws. This is for the purpose of ensuring that the process is credible. The salaries of the employees will be dependent on their qualifications and levels of experience. The company will also ensure that it establishes a good relationship with the customers and suppliers. Business context Wider and local market The clothing industry is vibrant and lucrative and it is growing at a fast rate (Pickles, 2011). The company will specialize on the women clothing. This is due to the high demand for the women clothing both locally and internationally. The industry is lucrative and it has millions of customers although the company only targets about ten thousand local customers who are close to the main location of the company. On the other hand, it is also important to note that the women in the locality are in constant demand for new fashions which the company will be offering through its unique designs. The uniqueness of the designs is important in the industry as the customers always prefer unique clothing which is also able to suit their interests. The company will also design and sell the clothing for women of all ages. This is for the purposes of increasing its customer base. Market trend and competitor analysis Currently, the market has been growing at fast rate and unique fashions are emerging. Most of the customers in the industry prefer the latest and unique fashions (Hamm, 2012). This has led to aggressive competition in the market as each of the company is trying to influence the customers. On the other hand, it is also important to note that the industry has been undergoing a lot of pressure from the customers as the fashions keep changing at a fast rate. Multinational companies have also been actively involved in the industry. This has contributed to the stiff competition that is usually faced in the industry. The local companies have to compete with the multinational with good brand name among the customers. The strength of the industry lies on the high demand for the clothing by the customers. However, it weakness is on the higher bargaining powers of the customers and the suppliers who are relied upon for providing the raw materials. Thos has a negative impact on the pricing of the products. SWOT Analysis Strengths The company will be producing innovative and unique designs for the women clothing. This will play an important role in attracting customers to the company. The uniqueness and innovativeness of the company is its major strength which will play an important role in beating the competitors. The company will also ensure that it considers the local designs which are popular in the market. This strategy will boost the competitiveness of the company as most of the multinational in the market do not produce the local fashions. The company will also be equipped with the modern equipment and techniques which is not utilized in the local market. Thai will also be a major strength for the company. The importation of the clothes will also be useful to the company in terms of filling the gaps on the demand and hence enabling it to compete effectively. Weaknesses The business does not have a much initial capital that is required for the purposes of establishing a strong presence in the market. This is likely to impact negatively on its ability to compete with the other multinationals in the market. The taxes will impact negatively on the revenues of the company. This is because the importation process of some raw materials and clothing attracts huge taxes and hence impacting negatively on the profitability of the company. This will also have a negative impact on the ability of the company to compete effectively. A new company, it will be difficult for the company to gain the loyalty of the customers and it may take long before it gains the loyalty of the customers. Opportunities Despite the weaknesses, the company still has opportunities that will impact positively on its ability to compete in the market. The company may form a partnership with the multinational that operate in the region. This will play an important role in ensuring that the company is able to reduce the competition in the market. It will also play an important role in ensuring that the brand image of the company is recognized by the customers. On the other hand, it is also important to note that the company has an opportunity in terms of diversifying its designs so as to attract more customers to purchase its products. Threats The major threat for the company will be the intensive competition in the market. This is from the local companies as well as the multinationals. The competitiveness of the industry may impact negatively on the ability of the company to make profits and establish a brand image. The strict laws that govern the importation and exportation will also be a threat for the company. This is because it will impact negatively on the profitability of the company. Research design and methodology The collection of data for the purposes of obtaining the market information will be carried out through the use of primary research. This will mainly involve the direct contact with the stakeholders in the industry. The data collected will play an important role in enabling the company to make decisions and prepare for strategies that will enable it to compete effectively in the market. The primary research will involve the use of qualitative method of data collection and analysis. This is because the method is important in terms of obtaining information that can not be quantified and is useful for the purpose of decision making. This method is also simple and easy to interpret the data as compared to the quantitative method (Magilvy, 2011). The data collection method through the use of qualitative research will involve the use of interview questions. The interview questions will be administered on the respondents who will mainly be customers in the market. A high number of respondent will however not be used due to the financial limitations. The respondents will mainly be women drawn within the location of the business. During the data collection process, the ethical concepts will be observed. The respondents will not be influenced to answer the questions in a particular way. High levels of accuracy will also be involved during the process of analysis the data. During the analysis of the data, the concepts of validity, generalizability and reliability will also be considered. This is for the purpose of enhancing the quality of the research.
