The paper "Impact of Leadership Style On Success or Failure of the Organization" is a worthy example of a management essay. A leader plays an important role in an organization and the success or failure of the organization does solely depend on them. For this case, leaders should possess admirable characters in order to be in a position not only to influence others but to also show a good example to others. (Marion, 2001) Characteristics of a Good Leader The field of education like any other field requires to be run by leaders who would portray a good image for the organization and consequently lead to the achievement of the goals and objectives of education at large.

I personally admired a number of characteristics that were being portrayed by a leader I worked with our organization. This leader had commendable characteristics that had a great impact on the organization. Education field requires a well-qualified leader who is ready to learn since so many things keep on evolving and the leader should be the first person in an organization to learn them so as to implement them. The following are some of the characteristics that I admired in this particular leader.

Honesty This particular was sincerely in all his undertaking throughout the entire time I worked with him. He even encouraged other staffs in the organization to always be sincere while executing their duties and responsibilities. He would constantly remind other staff during a meeting that trust will not be inspired by deceptive behaviors. (Brundrett, Smith and Burton, 2003) Inspiring For a leader to be in a position to inspire the people their lead, they should be confident in all their undertakings.

Other people will reach new heights if they are inspired by their leaders and there is no doubt that organization goals will be achieved since they will be motivated in their workplace. Fair-Minded A good leader should not victimize or favor other staffs. He should be fair to all staffs by treating them equally. This particular leader was always fair and treated them equally in all circumstances. The trait can be achieved if the leader is guided by the rules and regulations of the organization and the policies and anybody who does not adhere to them should face the necessary consequence regardless of his status and the workplace.

Courageous A leader should have courage in order to be in a position of achieving the goals and objectives of the organization he runs. There are so many challenges that are expected to come in the day to day running of an organization, and for this case, the leader should not give relinquish. This particular leader was courageous enough to face any obstacle that came along his way and he was always calm even during stressful moments. (Marion, 2001) Competent For one hold a leadership position, he must be well qualified and experienced in his field.

For this case, for one to run an organization in the field of education, one has to be an educationist by profession. When a leader is making any decision at his workplace, it should be made taking into consideration a lot of reasoning and should be based on moral principles. (Brundrett, Smith and Burton, 2003) Conclusion The leadership style of this particular leader had a great impact on the organization as the goals and objectives of the organization were always achieved in his tenure. In order for a weak leader to change his style, he should ensure there are rules and regulations and policies in the organization he learns, and ensure that they are followed strictly.

I would urge leaders to be in the position of portraying leadership for the sake of achieving the goals and objectives of an organization.
