The situation that Virgin Blue is undergoing has been witnessed in many organizations that want to keep pace with the dynamics of the business world. The culture and the work ethics of the business have to adapt to the new level of doing business (Chong, 2011). Conformity to old traditions delays the achievement of the objective of the business or the mission for its existence.

The airline in partnership with SkyWest has introduced a turboprop aircraft that would be used on the regional routes (Chong, 2011). A Coolangatta airport is in the process of being launched in the near future. The business class is set to be initiated in the domestic fleet. More two lounges are being contemplated.

Every business has to create a climate for change and prepare its members for any changes that are anticipated.
