The paper "The Key Factors for Successful Collaborative Writing" is a great example of an essay on management. A group is different from a team in the content and not the structure. They both are made up of individuals working together but with different dynamics and different ideologies. A group works under structures of authority with divided roles within the group. A team works as a synergy with a concerted effort in one task after the other. As a student I believe teachers usually avoid collaborative writing because of social loafing; a member of the group does nothing at the expense of the others.
