It is important to understand the different underlying motives which guided war and need to be looked at from different angles and dimensions so that a framework that helps to understand the real cause of war can be properly analyzed.

This will help to enter into better treaties and have laws which prohibit such activities and guide the world economies to pursue a common objective which will be aimed towards improving the overall condition and achieving different aspect which is important for the growth and development of the region. The concept of Manifest Destiny has been around for centuries especially in America as the country has developed its vision around it. America through the concept looked at creating a vision for its country which was around improving its size, and exceptionalism, and gaining prominence and importance on the global level so that different work and activities could be carried out.

The process would also ensure that America contributes towards the growth and development of every region and could thereby be different from other economies around the globe. Since the inception and use of Manifest Destiny, it has been looked at as a concept that is filled with ambiguities and contradictions. It lauded America as a special nation who have people who are superior to other races and have been selected by God for the development of different regions all around the globe. The process was also looked at as America being a superpower where they promised their citizens land and freedom through the concept of Manifest Destiny but on the other hand, made other races and citizens deprived of the different necessities and basic things of life.

Problem AnalysisThe world economies have undergone different wars and each war had a different reason for being fought with one. This has impacted how the economies were pursuing their economic growth and is an area that needs to be analyzed and looked at. History shows that the greed to have more and more territorial expansion and to demonstrate supremacy over other economies has resulted in different wars being fought. The impact of such decisions has been worse and has pushed economies backward which has thereby made it difficult to deal with the impending growth rates.

The same can be seen in the case of the United States where under the rule of the Polk administration war was fought with different economies under the concept of Manifest Destiny. The Polk administration used Manifest Destiny as its weapon to expand its territorial reach in the southern region of the country. The Polk administration stated that they were looking to annex different countries so that they could ensure better productivity and improve the overall condition of people by freeing them from slavery.

The entire incident raises concerns regarding the different steps which were being taken by the Polk administration as under the shield of Manifest Destiny United States was looking to expand its territorial reach so that it could have more and more control over the different proceedings. This raises concerns and doubts regarding the actual motive behind the territorial expansion by the United States in the southern region under the leadership of President Polk.
