'Health Care Administration' is a great example of a paper on the health system.
Health services administration details the career opportunities for people who pursue college or degree education to work in the health care setting as an administrator. The roles an individual plays in health care in relation to administration entail leadership skills, marketing, human resources, financial management, and health informatics. The main reason is that the health field is diverse, and a person can decide to specialize in a division associated with a health care institution. For instance, there are various departments such as surgical and outpatient services in a care center. A person employed as an administrator in a surgical department operates under the surgeon. The service coordination in relation to supplies acquisition, financial billing, quality outcome evaluation, and surgical schedule procedures would be the expectations of the job. A manager who gets employed as a manager in a care center responsibilities includes coordination of employment, clerical staff firing, service marketing of the institution and financial planning.

According to Slutsky & Clancy (2005), the leadership skills required for success in relation to health service administration. This involves a theory that explains a person's leadership position varies in response to the organization's employees and data gathered that analyzes occurrences (Slutsky & Clancy, 2005). Healthcare administration comprises the entire management with the leadership of a healthcare institution to ensure excellent healthcare outcomes. The absence of healthcare administration results in care delivery and compromise of projects. The capability to head an organization and encourage affordable care results in optimal outcomes, which remains significant in healthcare administration.

According to Davis (2008), administrators of healthcare institutions have diverse functions and roles in relation to the size of the facility. In most cases, they coordinate, plan, and supervise the operations of health care and employees in the institution. There are two kinds of administrators; generalists and specialists. People tasked with the responsibility of managing the facility are called generalists. On the other hand, specialists are responsible for the professional operation of various departments such as finance, budgeting, policy analysis, human resources and marketing (Davis, 2008).  The administrators in a healthcare institution are required to maintain professional standards, measures, and policies for different institutional activities. They are accountable for developing programs that entail scientific research, medical, vocational rehabilitation, and preventive medicine in community health welfare.

A successful health care manager needs to be a person who has excellent leadership and managerial expertise. They have to be competent, organized, brilliant written and verbal skills in communication. Administrators working in healthcare institutions are responsible for designing objectives by defining the objectives of all employees. The financial administration entails the ability to create and analyze the budget. Leadership skills, financial management, and marketing form the basis of a competent administrator. They need to determine how money is spent and establish systems that monitor the outcomes. Their other responsibility is to complete a benefit analysis of the services provided by the health care institution. The ability to produce detailed reports is the responsibility of the administrator to ensure accountability. The health services manager has to combine the knowledge of financial management to supervise the organization. This means that the roles of different individuals in the health sector are specific. The needs of various types of health services tend to determine the responsibilities associated with the administrator.
