There are several types of gait processes. One example is the antalgic gait. This gait is characterized by the reduction of loading of an affected extremity caused by decreasing stance phase time or joint forces [4]. Its main symptom is in a person’s feet as they tend to feel a lot of pain, which extends to the upper parts of the heap and the knee, as well. During these painful moments, the patient tends to try as much as possible to lessen the weight placed on the painful part [1] [2]. They do this while walking or running mainly by altering their gait. By doing so, the speed of an individual tends to reduce gradually as a result of the pain endured. This affects the style of the patience’s normal cycle [3]. This gait may be frequent at times depending on the damaged part that is the musculoskeletal system. Other types of gait patterns include the normal gait cycle.

Another cause of this might be as a result of stress. In other serious cases, it may be due to diabetic-related issues, borne infection, ingrown toenails, ankle sprain, foreign body, blisters, and stress fracture among others.
