"Dissemination of Project Findings" is a decent example of a paper on the health system.
The most appropriate method for disseminating these findings and results will be through publishing the results in both online and print journals. There are various medical and nursing journals that cover both online and print audiences, which can be useful for this project.  Some of these journals include Medscape, Western Journal of Nursing Research, The Journal for Nurse Practitioners, and Advance for Nurse Practitioners among others.

One of the main reasons for opting to use journals as the format or forum for disseminating the project findings is that the journal articles often go through a rigorous screening process commonly known as blind peer review. During this process, various independent experts on the topic will review the article and give their critique or appraisal to the author before publication of the article (Davis, 2014). This grants the authors and researcher sufficient time for making corrections to improve the outlook of the article before it goes out in public. The other advantage of publishing the article in journals is that most journals have a wider audience both online and offline (Jingfeng, 2010). This will ensure that the article reaches out to a broader audience, which will lead to wide-scale implementation of the findings as well as prompting further research in this area.

Journals take comparatively less time for publication than books. This is advantageous because it ensures that the articles get to reach the targeted audiences within a shorter period. This also implies that there will be much more time spent on promoting and publicizing the article, thereby gaining greater influence as opposed to other print publications. Journals are also becoming popular within academia in comparison to other forms of publication (Davis, 2014). This is because of the peer review process that makes the knowledge in journal articles more reliable. Disseminating the project findings in a journal article will ensure that the article attracts the interest of various scholars and nursing students who are likely to take the issues discussed in the article seriously (Rodrigues & Abadal, 2014).

Publishing articles in journals also has its weaknesses.  One main limitation is that as the author or the researcher of the article, one has little control of the article published. Once the article is submitted to journals for publication, it becomes under the control of the publishers. Therefore, the article has to be changed to meet the demands of the publishers. The other disadvantage is the journals are published periodically; hence, there is a high chance that there will be many more articles published within one volume (Miskelly & Green, 2014). The chances of one article standing out to appeal to the audience are slim.

Another popular method or strategy for disseminating research findings is weblogs. These websites contain useful information on certain topics. They mainly focus on online audiences.  Publishing or disseminating research findings on weblogs is an easy and less expensive process, which also targets a wide audience (Clarke, & Kingsley, 2008). A researcher can publish the project results on various weblogs that specialize in the field of interest in which the research falls. The only drawback of this process is that it can be difficult to ascertain the authenticity of the research findings.

My dissemination process for this project enhances my development as a scholar-practitioner and a nurse leader in various ways. For instance, it will help me meet other experts in the industry who will review my articles and guide me through my research writing process.
