"Industrial Hygiene Fundamentals" is a decent example of a paper on the health system.
Benzene medical monitoring program under occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) standards of the industry, requires the removal of urinary consecration to normalization. OSHA encourages regular urinalysis with the use of a microscope. Since benzene vapor pressure is the main source of inhalation, OSHA recommends the use of protective equipment known as respirators. Personal equipment like an apron, gloves, face shield, and boot covers are used. The main duty of an industrial employer is to train its employees on safety precautions in their workplace.

Body monitoring of benzene includes examining urine and blood. Medical attention of blood such as white blood cell count (WBC), red blood cell number (RBC), and platelet count should be established. Symptoms accompanied by high inhalation of benzene include drowsiness, convulsion, rapid heart rate, confusion, and unconsciousness of which many are visible.

The direct read instrument used for benzene is called passive sampling /thermal conductivity. The time-weighted average (TWA) sampling methods required by OSHA standards is industries apply control system. Time-weighted average (TWA) sampling requirement, for instance, the recommended air volumes and storage precautions are essential. This exposure should not exceed the ceiling requirements. However, there is an exemption point at which this exposure must not exceed, this is 50ppm. Other sampling methods required in emergency response are; flammable vapors, other contaminants, and indoors air valuations. Industrial monitoring of employees' exposure to benzene must be carried out frequently. (Debra Pp 23.)

Lead medical monitoring by occupation safety and health administration (OSHA) standards entails the removal of arithmetic mean blood where medical surveillance is triggered up to a recommended level. Lead is administered in the body through inhaling lead sprayed products in the air; OSHA recommends sampling of air inside masks. Passive sampling is preferred compared to dynamic sampling since it is unaffected by high carbon dioxide and humidity. More basically there is flow rate and media sampling. Lead inhalation results in respiratory blockage. Occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) requires the submission of injury reports annually unlike the first aid report. Medication should be administered as soon as an employee shows symptoms of overexposure to lead substances.

The exposure to lead above time-weighted average (TWA) frequent monitoring is needed Monitoring should take place in the first six months. There should be close measurements to ensure that TWA is not exceeded. The occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) standards regulatory of lead exposure allow a maximum of up to 8-hours time-weighted average (TWA).

When it comes to lead, what is monitored in the body is a blood sample which is done by medical professions. The industrial hygienist may collect the gas-bag samples of expired breath. Pulmonary functions can be checked using a pressure respirator. Companies are recommended to have a medical department and a laboratory. The lead detector instrument is used to detect the presence of lead metal fumes.

The sampling analysis required by OSHA standards requires that samples should be sent by the hygienists or medical personnel only when the laboratory analysis is known. A photoionization detector (PID) is an instrument used to detect a variety of organic compounds. It is also used to detections caused by protons. A flame ionization detector (FID) is used to detect ionization current flow in a chamber. On the other hand, the Combustible Gas detector instrument is used to detect flammable gases and vapor.

Anderson Sampler instrument is used to detect the size of particles in gases using a pile of perforated metals, works like the respiratory tract in human beings. The particle sampler is used to measure particle emissions from the power plant.

Conclusion

Medical surveillance is a major issue in all industrial sectors. Industrial hygiene is highly recommended for employee’s health standards. It also helps to improve the working conditions in the industry. Medication is highly needed to protect male and female productivity. Therefore, there is a need for a well-managed and designed program for industries. An industry has to provide personal protection for every employee.
