It is improved both textually and geographically and is based on a widely accepted survey of Old Testament for undergraduate students (Wheaton College, n.d.).

The book contains comprehensive information recorded in 608 pages and the book simply reaches far behind rephrasing biblical material. The book is a valuable blend and a balanced insight on the literary, historical and theological aspects of the Bible. The preface of the book itself makes clear about the fact that though the Old Testament is termed obsolete by new covenant and ‘Why study The Old Testament’ is a question that has echoed through the centuries of church history, the book ‘Survey of the Old Testament’ satisfies this question properly and there lies the greatest achievement of the book.
