"Effective Organizational Foundations" is a good example of a paper on care.
It has been observed that some healthcare organizations withstand pressure within their work environment hence experience less disturbance and produce high-quality results of patients with low mortality and morbidity rates than the average ones. The same organizations showed notable resilience in maintaining patients and limiting turnover and satisfying staff. The findings resulted in magnet hospitals recognition by nursing that was designed in a way that recognizes institutions where nurses would like to work in and where patients get healings. It has been noted that the institutions have a number of organizations that enhance quality care and a working environment (Ferrell, pp 881). The structures described below helps to explain the climate and culture of an organization.

The creation of a pillar of an environment that will instill moral culture among the nursing fraternity requires all stakeholders to have clarity in understanding of the values, mission, and vision of an organization and nursing department philosophy. Clearly stated and supported values, mission and vision set the pace for nursing. Moreover, it defines the kind of activities that will lead to the achievement of an organization’s goals. The development of nursing philosophy enables the organization to establish itself in both external and internal community. Philosophical nursing defines behaviors of professionals that make nurses accountable and responsible for practicing moral courage in the course of acting in order to achieve the vision and mission of an organization (Kikuchi et al, pp 7). In accordance to a certain author by the name of Shirey, the key to effective management in planning and decision making is having clarity in the values, vision, and mission in such an environment as for nursing.  For an articulation of values, missions, and visions workers must train on being consistent between the lived and espoused.

Shared management encourages collaborative planning and decision making including responsibility. It enables nurses to act morally by owning their practice to an extent of care. Shared management is defined as management innovation that legalizes nurses’ practice control extends their authority into areas of administration that were previously controlled specifically by management. Most of the carried research has shown that many positive results of management that are shared inclusive of increased satisfaction of nurses and retention employ nursing staff. Such environments where management is shared are deeply embedded instill active participation of staff in creating a professional practice structure that encourages quality patient results. The work environment where management is done as a group encourages the active participation of workers in professional practice structure creation that encourages quality patient results.

Practicing in an organization that exercises collective planning and decision-making enables workers to be morally courageous. In such conditions, when a nurse is either in or out of duty, nurses who are courageous would advocate for initiation of conversions with care provides. Nurses who are incorporated in an organization where governance is collective, access resources and information they require to affect decisions, plan and influence results.

The idea of effective exchange of information and structure of management are contained in the spot statement. The culture in an organization seeks to make an environment that encourages and not punishing by reporting errors. In this kind of culture, workers are not held responsible for problems in a system on which they do not have control. This kind of culture identifies that quality and care safety is based on communication, teamwork, and an environment that is collaborative. This culture enhances courage in such workplaces (Fuller, pp 42)
