What would you expect to accomplish based on experiences you have had as an employee?
I expect the client to not understand my position and charge me like it is my fault. However, from my experience working here I am sure I can convince the client that since the case doesn’t fall within the standard warranty time, there is nothing we can do about it.
If you were the boss, what instructions would you give employees as a general rule for defective merchandise?

I would have asked my employees to make a note of the name of the vendor that supplied defective machinery and make sure for the future that we do not deal with him. Also, I would advise them to provide such customers with a 10% discount on their next purchase as a token of courtesy.
If you were the customer, what would you consider fair?
I would consider it to be fair enough to be given a replacement if the problem occurred within the warrantied timeframe. Read More
