Since it is a known fact that customers play a vital role in the output of a project and organization, therefore customer satisfaction is of great importance, hence ISO9000 in general and ISO 9001 in particular stresses upon quality improvements. The subsequent standard provides a road map for increasing the effectivity and productivity all together and allows addressing all those areas that are either neglected or areas that are relative to more importance. Finally, the ISO 9011 standard provides guidelines for transparency in the organization in the form of auditing. Auditing helps the organization in a number of ways. It allows the identification of wastes and unnecessary elements and events that are reducing productivity.

ISO 9000 standards are widely acclaimed across the world and a large number of organizations have adopted their policies and implemented them in their organizational structures. This has been adopted considering a large number of benefits achieved from it.

Slight changes have been observed in recent times in ISO9000 sets of rules and these changes stress upon greater contribution and participation of the top management. Further changes stress upon continuous improvement with a focus on the customers’ desires and satisfaction.

The set of rules and guidelines provided are so effective that entire processing becomes very smooth and the creativity and productivity graphs rise up sequentially.
