This paper thus looks at an article from an academic journal which discusses in depth the issues of organizational theories and designs. Markus Schwaninger’s journal article entitled A Theory for Optimal Organization has thus been analyzed critically in trying to establish some of the major adoptions and integrations which might be significant for any organization. The paper also goes ahead to discuss some of the approaches which might be adopted by any given organization in order to achieve better organizational performance and development. Summary of the Paper In the business world, management and organizational applications are very important because they make it possible for the business to gain profits and proper performance. This paper gives an analysis and overview of an article on Organizational theories and design in businesses. This paper simply implies that the engagement of these theories and designs in very vital due to the fact that it promotes the business performance in general towards the realization of profits, goals and objectives (Robbins 12). In this paper, there is a discussion on some of the views which have been passed forth on the journal article on how organizational theories and designs might be of great importance in a business. Some of the major theories and designs which have been enumerated in the journal article include the optimization theory which is quite important with the present businesses. Very important models have been able to be presented in the article in which the need for organizational designs are relevant, and especially when dealing with the human aspects. For instance, the human element, or the biological element, is something very important because it is what guarantees the best of performance within the business. The paper has also been able to give an overview of the major implications which come with management in organizational theories and designs. To begin with, there is the keen analysis on the major biological perspective and correlation with the organization theories. In this case, the journal article appraises the need for multilevel theories and organizational approaches which should be strongly embedded by the human perspective within the business or organization (Morgan 23). Organizational design is also another approach in which the business is aligned in terms of management and mentoring so that it might be possible to achieve better performance in the organization. This kind of design is done by effectively aligning the rightful people and human forces which will work in different areas of specialization to positively influence the organizational performances in general. In the paper, the element of optimization as part of the organizational theory has been something appropriate which has the capability of promoting organizational functioning. Optimization is a theoretical approach which the writer has entrusted for improvement of the performance of all organizations that appreciates it. This kind of optimization has been critically analyzed by a number of ‘properly simulated’ models such as the Miller’s Living Theory and the Viable Systems Model which are for human optimization. Basically, the application of such theories have the ability of improving performance by engaging all biological aspects, or the people, into proper functioning which guarantees proper management and achievement. The author notes greatly the important of such models and their efficacy in promoting numerous functionalities in the organization. These have also been seen to optimally improve the viability of all other structures within the business. Optimization in organizations has also been addressed as a very important approach which has the ability of solving most of the problems and issues that tend to be faced in the business. With optimization, a classical model is put in place which has the ability of routing for effective models which advance performance. Control measures are also put in place as drills which have the capability of improving the models which have been adopted within the operations. These simulations can help in achieving near results in the business organization. Depending on the nature of the business, different means and models can be executed which can thus promote problem solving as part of management. This is as well adopted depending on the measures which have to be incorporated such as with the costs and expenses for similar adoptions (Morgan 52). All operations in the business organization have to be adopted in such a way that the business will benefit in the long run, and this can only be achieved by ensuring that only the least expenses have been utilized. Multi dimensional structure is one of the important approaches which have been appraised in this journal article. In fact, the use of organizational strategies for the human aspects has been noted to be something which makes all people within an organization more productive and thus improving general functionality. This comes to a conclusion on how optimization can be something significance for a business organization. This will take into consideration all the situational factors which are conceivable such as the environment and hence instilling the rightful measures which have the power and capability of improving business performances in general (Jones 37). All business organizations should find this very important since it promotes the greatest of gains within the business organization. In practice, the journal article has been able to come up with a principle or theorem which might be adopted in order to provide a very powerful instrument or conceptual approach which measures and establishes the appropriate structures and organizational designs which might work positively for the business (Jones 76). This is so because all the major elements to do with business functioning, availability of resources, and the costs to be incurred have to be considered towards the achievement of business goals. In short, this article has been able to show significantly the rightfulness of these theories and designs and how their relevance might be important and applicable towards better business functioning. When the Human Resources are aided in such direction, then business organization that adopts such a plan will be able to achieve its goals within the stipulated time period. Evaluation of the Paper From the above piece of journal paper as it has been summarized above, it should be necessary to note that there is a lot to be desired which has the capability of improving the manner in which business organizations are to be holistically managed if a number of goals and objectives were to be realized in the business. To begin with, the theoretical approach and dimension towards organizational optimization is a very intelligent perspective when done rightly. As discussed above, this comes in by looking at the issues at hand within the organization and also establishing the kind of resources at disposal, and also establishing the major costs which have to be addressed within the organization. This kind of approach is quite relevant since it ensures that only what is important for the organization is employed. This way, it is quite possible to achieve better results in the organization. Through the adoption of appropriate models, there is a very great possibility that newer ways of engagement can be utilized within the organizational business environment (Daft 28). All people will thus be inline with the aforementioned theories which have been encouraged in the business. Through use of appropriate structures in the business, different people will be able to perform significantly in the business, and this will be primary goal-oriented. In short, the author of this paper has been able to appraise the need and significant of optimization and adoption of designs and structures within the business organization if goals are to be realized. All these adoptions, as noted in the journal article, can be very effective towards realization of appropriate goals. However, while the author has been able to present justifiable arguments on business organization and how different theories might be applied in the functioning of the organization, he has been unable to give details on how some of the approaches have been adopted in different businesses (Borkowski 38). For instance, this kind of affirmation fails to establish the basic means and ways through which different natures of organizations can adopt the optimization concept. This is the case because different businesses will need different concepts which tend to be influenced by the nature of business engaged in, the resources which are at disposal, and the kind of personnel employed in the operations of the business. This has been something debatable due to the fact that the author does see this kind of optimization as the only approach and a theory which can be effective for all sorts of businesses and other organizations. There should as well have been the embracement of other theories which promote cohesive groups and designs which promote organic structures in the business for better business functioning. This has been something which might have given the article a greater significance. As well, it will be argued that the author of the article might have been solely interested in giving views on how the optimization concept is quite elemental in business organizations and similar designs and theories (Daft 34). In short, the author did as well give some common assumptions that the theory is universal and can work in all kinds of business organizations. To be specific, the author might as well have assumed that different employees with different know how might be fully employed in same groups and structures which might have adverse impacts on the organization. Relevancy of the Concepts and Integration within the Organization From what has been addressed in the paper, it can be possible to achieve proper performance when the above concepts and structures or designs have been integrated in almost a great number of business organizations. While the major issue delves much on the human aspect, the application of the mentioned models, designs and structures can be effective in the business since all levels of management and organizational performance rely much on the roles that have to be played by different individuals in the business. In that case, optimization can be adopted in any form of business organization, even for non business organization. Since the main aim of all businesses is either to achieve some projected profits or goals, the employment of proper business theories and concepts which have been passed down in the paper can be important in the business (Borkowski 42). The people in the job will be comfortably mentored, and also ensure there is a balance of the roles to be played by different persons, have different resources put in place, and also have reduced costs employed in the functions of the business organization. Reduction in costs promotes the gains to be realized in the business as well. Optimization and other business theories have the ability of improving performance in the business once they have been adopted in the right way in the organization. This is something which can be addressed by making sure that developmental structures have been encouraged in the business, and in which the biological aspects and elements have to be addressed accordingly (Borkowski 49). The other important thing which does make the concepts of the paper more adopting is due to the fact that they do help in striking an ultimate balance through which only the best is postulated within the organization. For instance, the organizational structure should be able to help achieve all the possibilities which make it possible to achieve the organizational goals. Should all these concepts and designs be adopted in a better manner, and as well incorporate all other leadership concepts and human resource management and development, it can be very possible to achieve proper performance in the organization and by so doing be able to realize the major goals. With a keen view on the human aspect which is very important in the business, proper management will be realized, and as well have all the people appropriately mentored towards the success of the business organization (Robbins 43). Basically, the paper does prove that different adoption in organizational designs and theories have the capability of promoting performance and by so doing being able to achieve the greatest goals and missions of the business. This will be the rightful way through which all the goals of the organization will be realized in the long run. In conclusion, proper organizational management which borrows from designs, structures and theories have the capability of promoting business performances and also leading to easier realization of goals and objectives of the organization.
