The open government partnership is an initiative which has been taken to improve transparency so that governance aspect improves and the long term productivity and improvement can be easily monitored. This essay looks to highlight the open government partnership by dwelling on the reason for its existence, the working style, objectives, people benefitting from it and all other aspect which will help to understand it better. This would thereby transform into a situation where better determinants will be developed and used through which overall effectiveness will be gained and better understanding of the topic will be ensured. The Open Government Partnership was launched on September 2011 when 8 countries came together and openly declared their country action plan through the Open Government Declaration. Since its inception more and more countries have joined the partnership and the number of countries has increased from 8 to 62 (OGP, 2013a). The Open Government Partnership is an initiative where government and other bodies look to promote transparency, empower citizens, fight corruption and harness the use of different technology through which governance can be improved. The working on the Open Government Partnership is seen by the Steering Committee which consists of members from the government and civil society (OGP, 2013a). This aspect has helped to improve the manner in which economies look to work in the future as providing a complete description ensures that people are aware regarding the actions of the economy. Economies which look to join the Open Government Partnership need to provide a declaration and must clearly present the action plan regarding the future. This will require that the economies in consultation with the different bodies provide an Open Government Declaration through which governments will be held accountable and a process which will look towards garnering maximum gains and transparency in the working style will be ensured within the economy (OGP, 2013a). Open Government Partnership has been created with the objective of ensuring that the governments become more transparent, accountable and the quality of service which the citizens of the country receives improves. This will thereby encourage a shift and change in the culture and dialogue so that better relationship can be fostered between the government and the civil society. Open Government Partnership further looks to help both the government and the civil society by ensuring a high level of public disclosure and ensuring that all the different reforms which have been enacted are properly followed. This will thereby help to develop likeminded people who look towards contributing positively towards the economy and will provide a framework through which better relationship will be fostered. Now with the Open Government Partnership in place it is imperative to ensure that in the next two years strategies are developed which will ensure that the process is implemented so that the Open Government Partnership citizens are able to benefit. To ensure that the government is able to deliver on the different promises and objectives which have been declared will look at the following Firstly, ensure a high level of commitment from the different Open Government Partnership participating countries (OGP, 2013b). This will require proper monitoring and ensuring that the countries look to be committed and work in a manner through which better transparency and better services can be provided. Secondly, ensure proper support and inspiration to the technological expertise people so that they are able to perform and deliver better as per the declared government actions which will thereby lead towards enactment of better rules and ensure complete transparency in the working style (OGP, 2013b) Thirdly, ensure continuous engagement from Open Government Partnership countries and civil society so that better governance is possible. This would help to bring a complete change in the working style and will help to ensure better governance and transparency in the working style (OGP, 2013b). Fourthly, ensure that every participating country is held accountable so that they are able to fulfil and live to the expectation of the different commitments (OGP, 2013b). This will help to garner maximum possible results and will help to provide maximum advantage and benefit to the society. To ensure that all and complete information is provided to ensure transparency will help to provide maximum benefits to the citizens. To deal with it an Independent Reporting Mechanism has been developed which provides an opportunity to track the progress of all the participating countries and understand the manner in which different contribution are being made by different participating countries. This has thereby ensured that a biannual independent progress report is provided for all countries so that everyone associated with it can understand the progress and develop the future action plan through which different improvements and recommendations can be provided. This will help to bring a complete change in the framework of carrying out different activities and will help to improve the aspect of governance. Economies which have formed part of the Open Government Partnership have looked to ensure better transparency and are working on the different dimensions through which the different eligibility criteria are met. This requires that economies meet the different criteria which are fiscal transparency, public disclosure, right to information and similar other criteria which contribute towards being committed to the different needs and requirements of the society so that civil society and justice is determined. The overall objective thereby looks to ensure better transparency and develop a process through which different aspect of government dimensions are achieved. The use of Open Government Partnership has helped different people and bodies to be able to deliver better performance and ensure better transparency in their working model. The different participating bodies have been able to gain but the difference in culture which exists between nations has multiplied the complexity of putting things into actions. The manner in which different economies have been able to gain is still in doubts regarding the manner in which China has been able to provide. The different economic, cultural and other issues have provided a framework through which different developments and overall aspect which looks towards transparency has been developed. This will thereby entail and creates doubt whether the Open Government Partnership has been able to provide the different benefits. This has thereby been developed and identified based on which the overall business aspect has been developed. The development of different aspects and skills which looks at improving transparency and the style of working will help the countries to provide real and actual data which will be based on areas which will improve public health, ensure economic growth, reduce poverty and create an environment through which total growth becomes possible. This aspect is yet to be found out in countries which are not part of the Open Government Partnership as China and other countries which have a different culture needs to be explored. This will help to provide a sense of direction and will help to understand the manner in which the different aspect and facets which is related to Open Government Partnership and its actual result will be understood. The Open Government Partnership which will ensure better transparency and will develop the entire process through which different activities are carried out will help to improve the process of monitoring and ensure better transparency. This will thereby help to ensure that extra burden and to work according to the correct requirements will be developed which will force the government to ensure better authenticity (OGP, 2013c). Economies which are still not a part of the Open Government Partnership will in fact gain from it as being able to understand and identify the manner in which others will work and not disclosing their own strategies could be used as an advantage. This would thereby result in creating differences and disparities between the working cultures and would make it difficult for the entire world fraternity to be able to evolve their working style. It also raises questions on organizations which are not part of the Open Government Partnership as it creates an opportunity where they are not providing their citizens their rights by disclosing all information. This could thereby lead towards a stage where power becomes concentrated and the government starts to misuse its power just to ensure that complete and true information regarding the working is not provided (OGP, 2013c). To be able to gauge effectiveness and to ensure better productivity and transparency it is essential that all organizations adhere to the different needs and requirements and ensure a policy which is aimed at being transparent. Open Government Partnership further looks to help both the government and the civil society by ensuring a high level of public disclosure and ensuring that all the different reforms which have been enacted are properly followed (Summit, 2013). This will make economies feel additional pressure and will also raise questions on the working style of the government. This is an aspect which is yet to be explored and over years it will become clearer whether the economies have been able to bring the required transformation and change through which better transparency and authenticity is developed in the working culture. The different participating bodies have been able to gain but the difference in culture which exists between nations has multiplied the complexity of putting things into actions. This will require that the economies working style has to be changed and the entire process will ensure a framework where the citizens are provided complete and true picture regarding the working style and manner in which the desired results were achieved. Economies which look to join the Open Government Partnership need to provide a declaration and must clearly present the action plan regarding the future (OGP. 2013). This will require that the economies in consultation with the different bodies provide an Open Government Declaration through which governments will be held accountable and a process which will look towards garnering maximum gains and transparency in the working style will be ensured within the economy. This will help to ensure that the government is clear on its part and looks at ensuring that they work for the society and develop different rules and framework through which the overall productivity will improve and better transparency will be ensured. The enactment of the Open Government Declaration will help to act positively and will contribute towards the growth of the economy if the different aspect which looks at strengthening the overall working style is considered. To ensure that all and complete information is provided to ensure transparency will help to provide maximum benefits to the citizens (Howard, 2013). The different aspect has thereby been focused on improving the manner in which government bodies work and being able to develop the required parameters and areas will bring a complete change and help to develop a process where the working of the government is better understood. This essay highlights the open government partnership by dwelling on the reason for its existence, the working style, objectives, people benefitting from it and all other aspect which will help to understand it better. This would thereby transform into a situation where better determinants will be developed and used through which overall effectiveness will be gained and better understanding of the topic will be ensured. This will thereby ensure that the entire working is better understood and controlled and will help to bring the required change and transformation through which better results will be achieved.
