Today, mobile phones are used for both social and economic purposes: many business transactions have been made possible across vast distances through the use of mobile phones including the transfer of money.

The mobile phone has been used to link markets and traders heavily rely on it to contact their suppliers. Besides, the mobile phone is of great social value as they connect friends and relatives even across continents through calling and sending of messages; the phone has also been used for linking persons looking for partners. Far from that, cell phones provide listenership through radio and even viewership through televisions. In this report, we shall consider six models of current phones. We shall discuss their features and then evaluate how three respondents set about choosing one of them as a consideration for making a purchase.

There are various factors that determine the behavior of consumers and this fact is best represented by the different types of products and services that are available in the market. Notably, these products and services have been produced in response to the unique needs of a certain segment of the market. The buyers of these products and services use different criteria to make purchasing decisions.This report looks into the criteria that are used by three different buyers to purchase a phone of their choosing.

We have selected six different brands of a phone whose specifications we have here-in discussed. We have also evaluated the decision-making criteria that three different respondents used to buy their preferred phone.2. Creation of Decision Matrix2.1 List of Six Different Mobile Phone and Plan OptionsSamsung Google Nexus 10Design and Specifications: the Samsung Google Nexus 10 is basically a 10-inch tablet that is considered as the enlarged version of Nexus 7. Its touch screen has got a pixel density of 299 PPI and it is an LED-backlit IPS LCD.

This tablet operates Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and receives regular OS updates from Google. It also contains a 1.7 GHz Dual-core Cortex A15 processor with a RAM of about 2 GB. (My Smart Price, 2013, para. 1)Camera and Multimedia: The Samsung Google Nexus 10 has got a rear camera, with additional features such as the autofocus, face detector, touch focus, and the Geotagging. The phone can record HD Videos at 30 fps and also contains a 2 MP secondary camera that can be sued for HD video calling. (My Smart Price, 201, para.2)Connectivity and Features: Samsung Google Nexus 10 has got Wifi support that enables it to connect to the internet.

It also contains NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB 2.0 that enable it to cater for the additional requirement in regards to connectivity. (My Smart Price, 201, para.3)Battery and Storage: The tablet uses a 9000mAh battery that can last all day long. Besides, the tablet contains either 16 GB or 32 GB internal memory. The tablet costs about $ 504.99. (My Smart Price, 201, para.4)
