The paper ' Human Resource Management and Sustained Competitive Advantage' is a great example of a Management Capstone Project. The dynamic changes occurring in various industries globally have affected the business environment in more ways than previously anticipated (Dunning, 2014). These changes have been described as continuous improvements that have the ability to sustain a company’s operations and success in the ultimate long run (Dunnings, 2014). Factors such as the development of technology, liberalization of marginalized groups, and most importantly, globalization, have contributed to the fast-paced change in the business environment (VanSandt & Sud, 2012). With these factors in place, various companies have adopted different strategies to fit into the current environment. Competition has as a consequence heightened and there is the need, more than ever, to struggle to maintain a competitive advantage in the current atmosphere (Leigh &Blakely, 2013).

Organizational Change with the Increased Work Load
Change within an organization is normally taken to improve the performance of an organization (Jex & Britt, 2014). Most times the change within organizations is difficult to achieve as the habits ingrained among employees might be difficult to change (Alvession, 2012). For an organization to think about adopting change, there are always issues that have arisen to necessitate this particular change (Davernport, 2013). The whole understanding of the organization and its needs assist the company management to know what areas need change. Increased workload calls for organizational change through the hiring of new staff and adopting the use of technology to assist in managing work and personnel (Hill & Schilling, 2014).

What Increased Work Load Means to the Organization
The increased workload in the organization implies the increase in activities of a business in the organization (Applebaum, 2013). The elevated increase in business operations directly means that there is more work to be done in the company (Davernport, 2013). The increase of workload could also mean that there are few workers available to carry out the present business activities thus an immediate workload on the present workers (Applebaum, 2013). This results in inefficiency and low productivity among workers in the establishment.
