In fact, the mobile telecommunication giant introduced some standard testing solutions that incorporate strong business processes to roll out a comprehensive strategy in the management of application lifecycle. The major benefits that have come courtesy of T-Mobile has brought great efficiencies in the transmission of international data and voice functions. T-Mobile remains of the most established providers of mobile communication services in the world. With more than 125 million users spread across over thirteen countries across continents, T-Mobile is indeed a great telecommunication giant. In fact, the mobile firm is the greatest mobile provider in the Czech Republic, with more than five million subscribers in that country. The main objectives of T-Mobile are to establish and maintain an accelerated level of global competitiveness in the provision of telecommunication services (Williams and Parr, 2003). The best policy that has enabled the company to stay on the course of its mission is through the development of new products and innovations. This is coupled with simultaneous optimization of the company’s effectiveness in all areas of operation. This paper gives a general explanation of the evolution of T-Mobile in the provision of enterprise solutions that enhance productivity. This is done in a cost effective manner that ensures the delivery of the numerous benefits that are derived from effective enterprise mobility (Bresser, 2013). Since its inception in 1996, the company insists alot on the quality of services and goods, which are offered to its clients on a continuous basis. In order to ensure excellent customer care service, the company utilizes the advanced GSM technology that is coupled with the TDD technology. Recently, the company has embarked on rolling out the third generation technology in a bid to retain its position as a leading mobile services provider. T-Mobile has established mobile partnerships with over 40 mobile service providers around the world, and this presents an enabling platform for the expansion of its services all over the world. The partnerships also allow the company to provide excellent roaming opportunities with its large base of users. The great network ensures that clients can enjoy high availability of the services that they are just too familiar with from the comfort of their homes and work places at the all-time reasonable prices. One of the major initiatives that have enabled T-Mobile to expand its customer base involved the launch of the ‘Global for Business’ plan. This plan aims at enhancing the simplicity and predictability of T-Mobile’s business model by sealing loopholes that result in inefficiencies in data transmission. The result is the reduction in the overall operational costs. The plan also enables the company to maintain low access fee that makes the company favorite among mobile service users across the globe. The plan is backed by a pay-per-use model which is unique to every country in which clients use their mobile devices. These subsidized rates are available in more than two hundred countries across the world. Generally, the “Global for Business” plan remains very attractive for government agencies and other global businesses with international travelers. This besides the fact that the organization applies a monthly recurring fee. T-Mobile has established major branches across the world in a move to bring its services nearer to its clients. Every branch applies the necessary technological capabilities that best match the needs of the individual users in each particular country of operation. For example, in the United States T-Mobile has rolled out the SAP technology in more than 50 different projects. The technology allows the company to maintain a consistent application delivery environment that does not leave any postproduction issues. This has been made feasible by the integration of the SAP-ERP application. Globally, T-Mobile continues to pursue its core objective of ensuring enterprise mobility by providing increased support to government agencies and multinational business corporations. Even though other companies offer some roaming rates, T-Mobile remains the sole provider of a global roaming plan that provide subsidized services for both voice and data. The Global Corporate Access (GCA) is another flagship project that has led to the rapid evolution of T-Mobile giant. It is a model that allows the company to maintain easy and secure access to the various corporate tools by its users. The plan also enables users to have an easy access to the company’s resources regardless of their locations across the world. Indeed, GCA represents the global Wi-Fi footprint for T-Mobile’s business partnership with IPass. It allows the maintenance of an integrated network that comprises of over 600,000 Wi-Fi hotspots globally. Through this interconnection, T-Mobile subscribers are offered unlimited online access without any further authentication for the operating system, network or device manufacturer. Through its linkage to its parent company, Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile has been able to join the FreeMove Alliance initiative. The initiative is a partnership between four major telecommunication giants that are all based in Europe. These major corporate include Orange, Deutsche Telekom, Telecom Italia Group, and TeliaSonera. The interconnection of these mobile giants aims to establish a simplified mobile communication platform. One of the favorite models offered by the initiative is the FreeMove International Connect. This offers subsidized mobile rates for calls made within a particular company. Another benefit of the initiative is realized through its FreeMove Central Report. This is a Web-based application that allows for the effective management of phone fleet expenditure on a global scale (Ingham, 2012). Through its continued partnership in the FreeMove Alliance, T-Mobile has been able to expand its capability for global account management. This has given the company a chance to achieve a significant reduction in its management and complexity costs for its users. Indeed, subscribers. Indeed, subscribers enjoy the benefits of a localized account management system. From the other perspective, the company can ensure that its international objectives are executed in an effective manner. In addition, the company is able to maintain seamless delivery of services across borders. This is achieved through gaining concrete understanding of international requirements for individual customers, and striving towards achieving international strategies. Throughout the 18 years of its existence and rapid evolution, T-Mobile has been able to provide the following solutions to its subscribers, both in government agencies and individual enterprises. Good for Enterprise While Leveraging Good Technologys services, T-Mobile provides its users with a device-agnostic security service that is operational across a wide range of smart phone platforms. These include the Widows Mobile and the Android operating system. Recently in 2012, the service was extended to the Widows Phone 7.5. The solution makes use of a container-based approach that successfully prevents classified data from being accessed by un-authorized personnel. However, despite the numerous strides that have been realized by T-Mobile in enhancing global communication systems, it has not been without challenges. The great obstacle involves the maintenance of a productive workforce both locally and at the international level. On the other hand, the organization faces the pressure of the market fluctuations that are increasing the operational costs. In this regard, achieving solutions that are cost effective, reliable, secure and easy to use remains elusive. Indeed, the key objective of the company in reaching and maintaining a robust international reach remains paramount. In conclusion, the enterprise mobility policy that forms the foundation of T-Mobile is a precise business model. Indeed, T-Mobile has been hailed as a communication service provider that has been able to address critical components of mobile telephony. This has been made possible through its portfolio of services that encompass great depth and breadth of mobile coverage. This is accompanied by an avalanche of user-friendly applications, to suit the business needs of each client regardless of their position worldwide. References Bresser, F. (2013).
