Today everyone in an organization is considered as an information manager but the biggest roadblock in moving with IT and using it at the right time for the right reasons is the lack of skill and expertise to fix hardware, code software, plan networks etc. Organizations need to emphasize and make investments in IT to sustain their competitive advantages and achieve long-term growth in their businesses despite the wide range of challenges discussed in this paper.
