The intercollegiate institution has initiated plans to have the participating students participate in the same curriculum as the rest of the students from their various institutions (Black Males and Intercollegiate Athletics: An Exploration of Problems and Solutions, 2015). This is aimed at ensuring that the degrees that the students are pursuing apply to all the students without disparity. The student-athletes will, therefore, achieve their degrees just like the non-athlete students to improve the academic standards of their various institutions.

In its future plan, the institution is planning to revisit and reformulate the policies regarding full athletic scholarship which should incorporate the costs of attendance in their entirety. Intercollegiate institution is planning to revise its National Letters of Intent which at the moment have the interests of the respective participant institutions without incorporation the interests of the individual student-athletes (Zimbalist, 2015). This will give the participants a bargaining ground for their personal interests as well.

In this regard, it will also extend its scholarships from one-year renewables to four-year scholarships. It has also initiated plans to embrace accountability for students’ development which has become illusory at the moment. The Olympic GamesThe Olympic Games have over the past rode on a more rigid system of adding and dropping games that are to be played at the actual events. This has created confusion and turmoil for the individual participants (Miah, n.d.). A typical example is a badminton which was initially on the list, dropped, and then added.

In its future plans, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has enacted a plan, Olympic Agenda 2020, which will create a more flexible system for either incorporating or dropping games from the list. This will create a system in which the IOC has the privilege of adding medal sports, adding a new sport or dropping the existing ones, or modifying the existing games (Thiel, Foster, Banzer & De Koning, 2012). According to Toohey and Veal (n.d.), the IOC is currently debating on whether to head to Tokyo’s Olympic to include some or all of Baseball and Softball, Karate, Skateboarding, Surfing, and Sport Climbing.

Los Angeles, if awarded the 2024 host of the Olympic Games then the IOC will have to give in to their petition of including Baseball and Softball as well as American Football.Pro Sports Leagues In North AmericaThere are also future plans for the Pro Sports Leagues in North America. The major leagues in this category are NFL, NHL, NBA, and Major League Baseball. The issues of relocation have been at the core of the North American Leagues which has not augured well with the individual teams. The impacts have been a significant loss of control of their franchise markets which has resulted in adversities for their future plans to grow.

These leagues have plans to expand their bases in a bid to prevent the entrance of another league into the cities (Che & Humphreys, 2014). This has been witnessed through plans to combine their revenues in the future as this would boost their financial bases as opposed to individual leagues running their revenues (Webb, Stratas & Karlis, 2017). There are also plans to have advanced stadia of ultra-lightweight carbon fiber which allows for the morphing of buildings and roofs. These will have smaller footprints which will permit their construction within the cities.

In some leagues, the participants will be permitted to use genetic enhancement for the prevention of injuries to enhance safety. Most of the access to the games will be through social media as opposed to the large broadcasting of events. Fans will live-stream the games from several sources at once. The games will with time be watched through a virtual reality headset from the viewer’s favorite perspective quarterback. With a remote and in-person play that is indistinguishable as created by tactile feedback interfaces and virtual augmented reality, e-sporting will be embraced (Webb, Stratas & Karlis, 2017).

This will also incorporate the use of Game-Play sensors. The major tactics in addressing these issues include the vision, mission, and overarching goals of these three industries (Thiel, Foster, Banzer & De Koning, 2012). This will drive the individual industries into realizing their future plans. Another tactic would be increasing their financial bases through investments and seeking financial boosts from financial institutions in terms of loans among others. Through partnerships, these industries will have a smooth operation and need to expand their bases of operations (Toward Best Practices, 2015).

This has applied for MetLife Inc. which agreed to pay $ 16 million every year for 25 years so as to have naming rights of the home of the New York Giants and the New York Jets. This will, therefore, boost their income activities. There is a need to incorporate the Fans in the activities of these industries during which they are allowed to purchase merchandise such as jerseys, keychains, hats, socks, phone covers which will, in turn, supplement the financial bases (Zimbalist, 2015). These industries could also improve their presence in the cities through operating means of transports such as jets, buses, and ships.
