Business Analytics and Data Analysis - Assignment Example

Summary
The paper "Business Analytics and Data Analysis" is a perfect example of a statistics assignment. There are many females between the age of 30 years and more male between the age of 31- 45 years. the ageing population of 56 – 65 years consist of more men as compared to female. this implies that the birth rate is high as compared to the death rate and thus the country population is deemed fair…

Topic: Name: Lecturer: Course name: Course code: Date Q1a). Graph of a Histogram showing the age division of all respondents. Male(000) female(000) total (000) 00- 30 34 160 194 31-45 149 59 208 46-55 56 30 86 56-65 57 19 76 66+ From the figuere above, it can be depicted that there are many female between the age of 30 years and more male between the age of 31- 45 years.the ageing populatuin of 56 – 65 years consist of more men as comparied to female.this implys that the birth rate is high as compard to death rate and thus the country population is deemed fair. Therefore the appropriate measure of location would be median while the relevant measure of dispersion would be the range (highest value minus the lowest value. This is due to the fact the above graph is skewed towards the left and thus it cannot follow a normal distribution curve. c) Graph of a Histogram showing the age distribution of Male Male(000) 00- 30 34 31-45 149 46-55 56 56-65 57 66+ From the graph above,it can be observed that there are more ment at the age of 31- 45 years.the rate of birth is quite low as compard to mortality rate..this would mean that the country will be having more aged citizens to work for the nation and thus some meauses should be underaken to improve on the birth rate of male so as to have an improved economy.the relevant measure of dispersion would be the range because it set the limits of the score and hence the range can depicts whether there is an error in estimation especially where there is a break in one cvalue. (W. J. Dixon, 1992) D).Graph of a Histogram showing the age distribution of Female female(000) 00- 30 160 31-45 59 46-55 30 56-65 19 66+ It can be depicted that there is extreamly high birth rate of fermales in the country in contrast with male.their life span depicts a decline trend.at the age of 46- 65, there are less female citizen to work for the nation.therefore some measures should be undertaken to reduce the mortality rate at the age of 46- 65 years. p ercentage frequence ables for sex, work and educatyion. Q2). A histogram of respondents’ income income Self employed Government Private Total income Male 1812442 2002349 8141431 11956222 Female 466204 1492543 5911774 7870521 It can be clearly observed that more men earn income as compard to women.this might be due to the fact that population growth of females is not stable as compard to men who have stable growth rate and thus can work for long before retiring. Q3A).An histogram showing descriptive income for Male From the figure above, majorly men derives most of their income from private companies as compared to self employemn.a few works with the government in which their income is derived from the same.. (Anthony Barnes Atkinson, 2000) Q3B). A histogram showing descriptive income for Female Female as well derive their income from private investmen as compared to self employent but again few works with the government to earn a living. it can be cleary observed that the rate of females in either gorvenment, private or self employent is quite below those of their counterpart.it can be envisaged that there exist is skewed to the right in this histogram and thus the appropriate meause would be to use the Geormetric mean because the data do not follow a normal distribution.in order to get the unpredictability of this source of income, standard devaition would be an appropriate tool because this tool aids in assesing the risk of each individual source of income.standard deviation is derived by getting the square root of the variance. i.e √ variance Q3C) a bar chart Using a bar chart, we can still derive the same theory whereby men earn more income as compared to females because they do have a stuble growth unlike females in which their growth ratei s decline at a steady state. Q4). Income distribution for each education level Post graduate 3327310 bachelor 4830711 completed secondary school 4059622 some secondary school 725,765 Diploma 4934268 There are more citizen working and having attained diploma stage of their education and barchelors intensity.those who completed secondarty school and earn a living is slightly higher as compard to those citizen with post graduate certificates.this would mean that the living standard of the citizen is well ballanced in relation to their level of academics.therefore, we can use the sample mean (the summation of the observation divided by the sample size). as our measure of central tendency because the graph is symmetrical as well as the range in quantifying the dispersion because the observation is normaly distributed. (David A. Swanson, 2012) Q5a). histogram show destribution of income in each sector income Self employed Government Private Total income Male 1812442 2002349 8141431 11956222 Female 466204 1492543 5911774 7870521 Bar chart In genaral , the economic condition and the living standard of the country depicts a favorable trend.the rate of population growth is fair though some measure should be taken on the rate of mortality on females. The education sector is playing a vital role in ensuring that it supply workers into the market and with relevant skills.it can be envisaged in the graph because while in every level of education ,atleast there is ballanced employent exept for those who are still in the secondary school.the figure for those are in secondary schools is quite minimal because the law require them to be in school and most of them are still below the age of being a citizen and getting employed. From the graph above, it can be observed that it is skewed towards the right meaning that Median will be relevant in measuring our location while the appropriate measure of spread would be the use of quartile and inter- quartile range because,in giving an accurate statistics, quartiles is rarely affected by outliers or skewed data set as compared to mean and the standard deviation.
