The paper presents a stakeholder analysis for the University of South Wales. PESTLE Analysis of University of South Wales A PESTLE analysis comprises of a study of the macro-environment political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental factors that affect the operations of an organization. Political environment. University of South Wales political environment is characterized by adherence to the policies that have been passed the government of Wales. The University works in collaboration with relevant government agencies especially the Department of Education to ensure the creation of a favorable learning environment for the learners. The Department of Education is responsible for implementing education policies that guide knowledge acquisitive in the University of South Wales. Economic environment. The University of South Wales has been at the forefront of advocating for economic development in the local community. Through producing highly skilled graduates for the job markets, the university has contributed to economic growth. The vice-chancellor, Julie Lydon has steered towards achieving economic sustainability through encouraging the enrolment of students in the Faculty of Business and Society. Social environment. The University has also recognized the need to create an enabling social environment within its campuses. The institution admits students from different cultural and racial backgrounds. The stakeholders also brought a great impact on the operations of higher institutions of learning Social affairs. The parents are also encouraged to participate in social affairs in the school with the aim of attaining sustainability. The parents also participate in decision-making and implementation of policies that are related to the behavior of the students. Economic affairs. The parent body can also play a significant impact on initiating sustainability through economic efforts. According to Brundiers et al (2010), such corporate social responsibility efforts have improved the relationship between the school and the local community. Both business and learning institutions should adopt favorable measures aimed at creating an enabling environment for the stakeholders.
