This has been given as the focus for business. The aim is to ensure the survival of organization. The continuity has been meant with the changing environment . Terrorism has been considered as a threat to business (George D. Haddow, Jane A. Bullock, Damon P. Coppola). The physical safety of the employees has been meant as important. That may also involve the decentralization of business. The sphere of concern will include the regional impact of disaster that includes economic to the place where business is located. A recovery time of zero should be always maintained. There should be importance for critically backup systems. There should be inclusion of physical security concern and the survival of business depends on many external factors. External factors like infrastructure and public authorities and that determine BCP is successful or not. There has to be increased communication with business and government authorities. The critical emergency link has been assuring two way communications with business. Any catastrophe that demands the survival of business has to be dealt directly by business. The business has to have a major role in emergency management and the connection with emergency management and BCP is normal because it is the authority that determines the safety of public safety planning. Emergency management should be made to interact more powerfully. Emergency management should be allocated more resource so that Business continuity planning will be helped. The Steps Preparedness consists of three phases. First phase consists of a plan that has to be prepared. Then training of the plan has to be done and exercising the plan has to be the final step. FEMA has been sponsoring numerous planning and training activities plus the education activities to assist the communities and states in developing effective preparedness plan and training personnel to implement plan.FEMA has been helping local and state governments and that has been done by comprehensive exercise program. Disaster may be declared after hurricane, flood, terrorist activities, tornadoes, earthquakes, or other events that can strike community.FEMA workers will help the disaster victims to find a place to stay if the house is damaged .FEMA teaches the people to face disaster and how to make their home as safely as possible.FEMA trains fire fighters and emergency workers.FEMA provides advice to rectify a disaster. The congress provides FEMA budget every year and that has been kept aside for meeting disaster management.FEMA encourages business with local communities and between business and public sector in matter of emergency planning and also coordinate activities with voluntary organizations and charities. Non Governmental Organization There has been interest and belief in the ability of non-governmental organization to help the poor and weak people in all countries and this has been done to improve the quality of life and the economic status has been changed through credit provision and skills training and there are help for income-generation programme (Roger Riddell, Mark Robinson, JOHN DE CONINCK, Ann Muir, Sarah White,2005).NGO projects has been found to be successful the moment they have been able to get community participation and the staff are committed to make sure that the goals are met and strong and competent leaders are running the NGO.There are many projects that can be termed as successful and there are many projects that can be termed as failure. A closer cooperation with governments and it can shape the poverty alleviation programme in future. A lot of self help programmes are being designed by NGOs and that has changed the life of many poor in developing programmes. Local Enforcement Agency Many type of threat may arise to business. That can be due to computer threat and the local enforcement agency will have to act. National Guard and Red cross Organizations need to work well with public organizations of the caliber of Red Cross and National Guard. It is in the midst of disaster that much type of organizations like above is remembered. The usual policy is to call at the time of disaster and get timely response. When some sort of natural disaster occurs, we will be looking at certain people to handle the problems like restoring normalcy in business and society. The normal procedure is that military is the best bet and in normal countries Army is best bet. In United States of America, It is the National Guard, the army organization for locals and they have been charged with local work. The army person has been given the necessary training and they will find the areas to operate on when they enter a calamity. UN,World Bank The disaster of international nature has to be dealt faster by international community and in this case there is no difference between rich and poor countries (George D. Haddow, Jane A. Bullock, Damon P. Coppola). Appeals for assistance are met in many ways and with television and internet airing the disaster scenes the consciousness of the community are aroused. Natural disasters, technological disasters have attracted international attraction and complex humanitarian agencies are the last one in the area. The civil conflict that has been rooted in traditional ethnic accompanied by widespread atrocities. The United Nations is not government agency and it does not write laws.UN has established partnerships in all countries and 70% of the activities are confined to development. The UN has helped many developing nation to prepare and plan well for disaster.UN has been fast in assisting the disaster areas with food and medicine and they are fast to develop disaster prevention. Conclusion There are many agencies like above that have done a lot to increase public awareness about disaster, getting commitment from public authorities, and expanding risk reduction in all levels.
