ADM Company is a public joint stock entity that came into being by use of Emirates Media which was incorporated in the year 2007 (Crunchbase.com, 2013). ADM Company manages 22 popular brands in the media industry in United Arab Emirates. ADM Company plays a critical role by informing, educating and entertaining its consumers in the region. They are able to do so by producing and selling its products such as daily newspapers, free-to-air television channel (Abu Dhabi TV), children’s magazine; Majid, Quran Kareem and various FM radio stations which include, star FM, Abu Dhabi FM, Emarat FM. The company also run a paid television company. Abu Dhabi Media Company plays a critical role in the other industries such as music, media films, digital media, publishing, digital signage and printing (Admedia.ae, 2015). With these services, Abu Dhabi Media brand has a wider commercial objective in the Arab world. The above-given information about Abu Dhabi Media Company indicates that the company is most diversified media Company in the region. It is important to note that Abu Dhabi Media Company enjoys both administrative and editorial independence. The company’s broadcast division portfolio plays an important role in the evolution of television industry in the region (Crunchbase.com, 2013) Internal communication in Abu Dhabi Media Company This is the transfer of information within the company. A good internal communication in a company helps improve performance, productivity and collaboration among staff in the company. Another benefit of good communication within an organisation is the achievement of business strategy by supporting culture, behaviour and beliefs that determine the organization future. Internal organisation communication affects how the employees interact with its customers. Sound internal communication makes the company staff to speak to the company’s customers positively. Positive communication with the customers improves the company’s brand and reputation (Quirke, 2011) As time goes, many changes takes place, the internal communication is no exception. Previous, internal communication was an only top-down process. The message was assumed to have been understood by the employees. The case is no longer the same since it was not effective and beneficial the companies. Poor communication within the organization limits the employees’ performance and engagement. Present-day team management and the senior management are tasked to ensure there is smooth communication within the departments and the entire organization. Poor communication is sometimes considered than no communication at all (Cox, 2013) This is an audit report about Abu Dhabi Media. This is where I work. The report will give the details of the internal communication which takes place within the company across all levels between the managers, leaders and employees. E-Service One of the reasons why Abu Dhabi Company is the fastest growing company is its adoption of the modern technology. Information and communication technology has made communication easy, cheaper and faster in the world. For this reason, Abu Dhabi invested a lot in technology in order to boost its growth. Every member of staff is well equipped with skills and tools to take advantage of innovation experience in the media and technological advancement sector. All members of staff in Abu Dhabi Media Company have access to E-Service platform which helps them work in various parts of the world. The employees can various information and publications associated with them. Each employee can access his or her account by keying in their authentication details. After login in, they can easily communicate with fellow employees i.e. peer-to-peer communication (horizontal communication) the E-communication service allows the member of staff to communicate with their managers and leaders in the company. The company also has placed in measures to ensure that communication is smooth. This is to avoid poor communication and breaking of the protocol. The employees can communicate with the top management only issues that affect them personally. This information is that are appropriate only. Another communication issue that concerns the company requires following a strict protocol where it each employee has to go through his or her supervisor. The E-Service communication platform enables the company employees to receive news and notification from the company and supervisors. Abu Dhabi Media Company memos are also shared here. The products and services have been of high-quality thanks to the sharing of lessons learned through the E-Service platform created by the company. This can be based on the demand in the market. As a result, the Abu Dhabi Media Company has been growing since its inception the year 2007. This in turn makes them become committed to the work and the company. Committed employees give the best to the organization leading to the achievement of set goals and objectives. The strategic plan is also a good communication tool within the organization because there is a smooth flow of communication within the company. It is usually developed after considerable analysis of what is taking place within the Abu Dhabi Media Company. Any information that was not shared by the employees due to protocol observed is normally captured in the strategic plan. The employees in each department sometimes have issues which affect them rather than all the employees.
