The characteristics of the job definitely dictate the employees’ reactions. In the two scatter plots provided, clear trends are observable. The first shows a positive correlation between job satisfaction and commitment of employees.

The more satisfied the employees are, the more likely it is they will be committed to their job. Contrary results are recorded turnover where there is a negative correlation. The more satisfied the employees are, the lesser is the recorded turnover. In general, task identity, autonomy, skills variety, task significance, feedback, commitment, and turnover all have an effect on general satisfaction and between themselves. This is shown by the recorded correlation values.
