In addition, the communicator should make certain that the speech is delivered with much passion and all developments and events should be handled in real-time. On the other hand, the responsibilities of the audience to the speaker include showing up not just physically, but also emotionally and mentally. Furthermore, the audience should ensure there is engagement between them and the communicator by asking questions. They should listen actively and examine the intent and message of the communicator and also offer input where suitable. In addition, the audience has ethical responsibilities; they are expected to conduct themselves courteously and respectfully. A3 I think thought influences the use of language because when a person uses the latter, he/she is obliged to specify particular forms of information. Residual message: The author insists that Australia needs more funding for infrastructure so as to reduce traffic congestion as well as improve housing affordability. Signposts are important because they enable the speakers to organise what they will communicate to their audiences. Thanks to signposting, the audience can effectively follow the meaning of what the speaker is communicating all through the conversation. While watching ‘TED Talks,’ a presenter sharing how to improve fuel efficiency used a number of signposts. For instance, when introducing his idea, he started by saying “this presentation is about.” During the presentation, he used numerous signposts such as, furthermore, having established, besides that, another school of thought, in contrast, however, and having said that.
