There were some elements which were collected from the website of DoT and such collection is called primary data collection method. While there were some aspects which needed to be knew in order to have an entire process in the view and for that purpose we used secondary data collection method in which the data has been recovered from other websites. 4. Key Quality Process The key quality process which has been studied in this report is the process of hiring in the organization of Department of Transportation in Abu Dhabi. Following is the process of hiring new employees been done step by step in DoT: 1. When there are new vacant jobs available in DoT, it gives an ad in different newspapers, in online ads websites and also to its own website. 2. The ads which are viewed by people are then applied by the job seekers. The method of applying for the job is performed only in online way. The job seeker has to provide the CV or to fill the application form online and send it to the provided email address of DoT. 3. After the last date of submission of applications or CV to the email address of the DoT, the organization shortlist the candidates who are look competent and eligible for the vacancy. 4. The shortlisted candidates are then interviewed so that the eligible candidate can be chosen well. 5. After the interview, the judges with mutual consent approve and choose a right person for the vacancy. 6. The chosen candidate is then asked for documents for further proceedings. The documents include the education certificates, the experience records and other training and workshop credentials. 7. The documents which are submitted by the successful candidate is then sent to HR committee. 8. The candidate is then asked for more certificates which includes medical and conduct documents from relevant authorities. 9. After viewing all the documents, the successful candidate is asked for a meeting with the organization and to sign the offer letter and to give the expected joining date. 10. And at the first day of joining, the successful candidate is given an employment contract letter to be signed by him/her. 4.1 Flowchart for the Quality Process Following is the flowchart quality management tool made to describe the process. Figure 1: Flowchart Quality Management Tool 5. Analysis of the Quality Process The quality process of hiring new employees has been discussed above. The quality management tool used to describe the process is flowchart. Flowchart has been used to assist in the examination of every progression in a procedure by illustrating it in a comprehensive and clear way. The flowchart will identify the zones where work process may be blocked, or redirected, and where work process is liquid. It will be used to check the sequence of events. Moreover, flowchart will identify where steps need to be added or uprooted to enhance productivity and make standardize workflow. The sequence of events in the hiring process streams in a clear, brief and flawless flow. There is a definite, clear cut and significant relationship of one event to the next event. All the events are described in a proper way and there is no vague explanation and performance of any event. There is no need of adding other events in the sequence of current process because every event is giving its complete meaning and performing the required function. But, it is never recommended to use only one quality management tool for the analysis purpose. Because in this way, there will be a lesser understanding of the issue being discussed or illustrated. So, it is suggested to the DoT to use a couple of quality management tools to ensure their process of hiring new employees. In this case, the other quality management tools which can be used for the process of hiring new employees are check sheet and control charts. Check sheet will be used to make sure that all of the steps are being carried out in a proper and appropriate way. Control charts will be used to monitor the implementation of the hiring process of new employees. 6.
