• Increase the number of employees in the company. The report found out that the company currently has just over fifty employees but to ensure that demand is met while at the same time maintaining quality, the report recommends that the number of employees is increased in all the five farms.22

• Moreover, the company should be ready to spend more on the promotion of its products. As established by this report, the seafood industry in Hong Kong is at the maturity stage. For the company to catch up with the rest of the companies in terms of sales, this report, for this reason, recommends that it should allocate more funds to advertising.22

• Furthermore, the report also suggests that AUSAB vary its products, not only on one farm as is the case currently but also all the other five farms.22

• Lastly, the report suggests that the company add on more equipment in the farms since the product will increase given the expansion.22

Introduction

The primary goal of this report was to prepare an international market assessment for two countries concerning the Australian seafood company. The states used for the purpose of this evaluation were Hong Kong and Singapore. The report focused on identifying the marketing strategies that are used by AUSAB to advertise its goods. In addition, the report identified the products that the business deals with in addition to how the products satisfy the needs of the consumers. The other aim of the report was to identify the target market for the products and how the products have been performing in recent years. In addition, the report also identified the various resources that the business has access to if it decides to go oversee.

When choosing the country in which the company should invest in the report suggested that Hong Kong was a more viable option. This was done by doing an environmental analysis; political, economic, social and technology. Moreover, the report came up with a product market analysis for the product, that identifies market segmentation, size of the market and the growth rate of the market. The latter was in addition to the distribution channels available to the company. The objective of the report was also to do a competitive analysis; who the main competitors the company will face, how they operate and if they are local or foreign companies.

After doing the above analysis, the report suggested the market selection that the company should enter into. The report went further and put forward the best entry strategy that is available to the enterprise for its entry mode. Furthermore, the report also identified the various opportunities that are accessible to the country in addition to the threat that the company faces. The report then made conclusions and came up with different recommendations in regards to the topic of study. These recommendations were made by using the finding of the research.
