University> By Part 3 There are several methods and techniques used in data collection during research. However, these methods vary greatly on concepts, designs and accuracy levels. That is why some methods are recommended for specific research studies. The methods selected for these research includes interview, survey and use of social media forums. Interview involves direct interaction between the researcher and the interviewee. The main objective is to obtain the required answers from the user. This is possible through a series of questions to be answered. Survey involves examining and analyzing the population of interest. For this case 20 people were used in the survey process. The third method used in data collection is social media. Here questions were posted in social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. These forums gave the researcher a lot of information concerning the issues under study. The data was analyzed with the aid of tables and pie charts. Additionally, there were minimal issues encountered during the research process. This was due to the fact that the population under study was small. However, there a few notable issues that were noted. The first issue concerns survey. The all process of data collection was costly and time consuming. This is because the people involved during survey were higher when compared to the number of population used in interview. The interview was also was not very effective at the start of data collection. However, the researcher realized this was because enough time was not allocated to the respondent. The solution to this issue was to allocate substantially enough time to the respondent. Finally, the only issue that was encountered from the social media was inaccuracy of the responses. Many of the users could not answer the questions precisely. However, this was solved by guiding the viewers on how to respond to the questions. Measuring the results: 0-18 months 18 months- 3 years 3- 5 years. Send children to Childcare 4 10 5 Take care at home 10 5 5 Others 6 5 10 To conclude, a lot of people only consider prices and quality when purchasing the nappies. A small percentage of these people consider environmental impacts. About 70% of the people who responded said buying nappies to babies in childcare is a noble idea. However, the 30% who criticized this are those people who were not for the idea of sending children at a tender age. Research revealed that an estimate of 20% of the population is aware of the biodegradable nappies. The rest have no idea because they are only interested with the price and quality of the nappies. More branded marketing strategies, green and sustainable products marketing strategies There are several more branded marketing strategies that can used to increase customer awareness of the products. One of the most notable of these strategies is the use of social media. Presently, there are several social media platforms. Examples of these social media platforms include Twitter, Facebook and Instagram all these social media platforms are populated by young, adults and even parents. They are all potential customers for the babies’ nappies. The company can therefore run adverts all over the social media. If the adverts are designed in gorgeous and eye capturing manner, the number of viewers would be very high. In this regard, they will be attracted to these products and hence buy them (Bauer, 2014). The second marketing strategy is to involve the use of current technology. The company can make good use of the ever evolving technology to market its products. This is possible through use of innovative technology products such as e-business. The company can design a website which will act as an interface between the company, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders. With this approach they can run promotions, contests and other customer attraction mechanisms. This will ensure that word is spread from one customer to several other potential customers (Ottman, 2014). Donovan (2015) argues that “The disposable nappy was first invented in the late 1940s, but no manufacturers were interested as it was considered impractical. It was a whole decade before the invention inspired the creation of the Pampers disposable diaper. This is a clear indication the nappies was introduced long ago. However, customer acceptance has been very low. There is great need for better marketing strategies. Customers all over the world are seeking greener products with the aim of preserving the environment and ensuring health. To achieve success in marketing these products, the company should be transparent. They need to provide information and detail reports concerning the products. This will go a long way in creating awareness of the products. Another advisable strategy is to solicit other partners. The company can work with credible partners such banks and environmental conservation agencies. This will go a long way to market and promote the products (Torrijos at el., 2013). Finally, the company can also train and promote responsible consumption and disposal of these products. Biodegradable products require that proper life cycle activities are followed to the later. In this regard the users’ needs to be trained on the important ways of disposing these products. This will go a long way to promote the use of these baby diapers and other greener products (Ottman, 1999 p.72). Key recommendations There are several recommendations that can be deduced from the research findings. The first recommendation is that Parents must be encouraged to take their children to the childcare facilities. In the modern day society, parents are becoming very busy. This is due to career demands and economic instabilities. Additionally, these have led to the unavailability of enough time to take care of the children. The research conducted revealed that the number of people taking children to childcare is still low. To overcome this, I recommend that parents be motivated and be trained on the benefits of taking children to childcare facilities. This will go a long way in ensuring that the children receive the best care and nurturing. The second notable recommendation is that the users of nappies must be encouraged to use biodegradable products. These products are very safe for the environment. The other products are very harmful to the environments. For instance, they lead to pollution when disposed. However, despite encouraging people to use biodegradable products there is need to train them. The users must be trained on better and responsible disposal products. This will be very beneficial in the conservation and preservation of the environment. Awareness of responsible ways of disposing these products should therefore be emphasized. Also, there is need to reduce the prices of these biodegradable products. The findings revealed that majority of the users of these products only concentrate on the prices. They have no interest on the environmental or quality concerns so much. Therefore, the Government and other agencies should consider the policies governing the trade of these products. For instance, it will be very beneficial if this sector is left as tax free. This will ensure that the retailers of these products sell them at a relatively affordable price. This will ensure that the average customer can afford them without difficulties (Polonsky and Rosenberger, 2014 p.25). Additionally, people should be encouraged to consider purchasing products that are environmentally friendly. The research conducted revealed that most of the people on concentrated on the price and quality of these products. This is not practical in the current society. There are several environmentally hazardous products that are in the markets. These products might be cheap and many people run for them. However, they fail to comprehend that there are associated risks of using them. Products that pollute the environment can be very hazardous to the health of the users. It is therefore very practical for users to consider the environmental concerns of the products they purchase. This will go a long way to ensure that the environment is preserved. Additionally, the users will not be exposed to health risks associated with the use of such products. Finally, there is need for companies selling these products to implement the suggested marketing strategies. The use of social media can guarantee numerous customers. These platforms such as Twitter and Facebook can be very beneficial to the company and also the customers. The company can use these platforms to advertise and market these products. Additionally, the platforms can be very useful is communication between the organization, the customers and other stakeholders. This will ensure that all questions arising about the products can be addressed immediately. Another practical marketing strategy that needs to be implemented is used of partnerships. There is need for the organization to enter into partnerships with incredible partners. The potential partners that can be very incredible include banks and environmental conservation agencies. All these parties will in the long run be beneficial to the operations of the organization. For instance, banks can support the organization financially. This will lead to the reduction in prices leading to higher consumption of the biodegradable products. Consequently, it will boost the awareness and promotion of these products.
