The paper “ Strategic Management of The Hard Rock Cafe“ is a  worthy variant on a case study on management. This paper conducts a strategic review of Hard Rock Café . From the year 1982 up to date the corporation, Hard Rock Café continues to expand into different parts of the world with different individuals taking up leadership roles. The company has maintained to be on the top ten lists of best restaurants worldwide with up to 92% name recognition in the market place. Managers at Hard Rock Café , make use of strategic differentiation method so as to successfully carry out their operation management tasks.

The head managerial team focuses on 10 key areas in operations management when making a decision based on the success of the corporation. The author argues in a well-organized manner that the corporation plays an important role in maintaining consumer satisfaction through its exceptional theme of rock and roll. These operational and managerial strategies have enabled the company to compete favorably in the global market. An evaluation of the company’ s internal and external operational analysis serves as the foundation of this strategic management analysis.

The analysis has explained the success of Hard Rock Café , growth strategy, and its development as a company and brand. Hard Rock Café has managed to attract more and more consumers by developing products and services to cater to consumer needs. SWOT analysis on HRC reveals that its main strengths include; ambiances, live music, young potential customers, and brand equity and value which can be utilized all together and outdo the weaknesses. The strategic group analysis contributes to evaluating companies with similar features as HRC in the industry.

This analysis led to the identification of three major competitors which are; Planet Hollywood International Inc, The Johnny Rockets Group, and Laundry’ s Inc. VRIN analysis is used to examine the major competencies at HRC by using the model to evaluate sections of competency at HRC.
